I was "swiping" along on Facebook Dating, looking for a good Godly Christian man, who was serious about having a relationship with intention of marriage, put God first, loved his family, and was passionate about what he pursued. This is the photo I first saw before I met Jermey in person. I could instantly see he was on the Mission Field serving, so I knew his faith had been tested, and he wasn't afraid to share the love of Christ with others. I could also see that he loved to act and work with kids, which is another passion of mine I had. I was hoping that he wasn't "too good to be true." Turns out he was even better than "good", he was perfect, and definitely the man I had been praying for and my family and friends had been praying for me! - Lauren

I was swiping on Facebook Dating looking for Christian woman to build home and future with. I had gone on many dates but that year and each end the same with neither of us being right fit. I then saw Lauren's profile loved what I saw. I swiped right on her and prayed she'd do the same. She did swipe right and also said "Hi" to me first. This made me instantly more interested in her and while talking to her I knew I had to take her out on date before someone else discovered this treasure of a woman I found. So asked her out on date for November 24th... the day after Thanksgiving.

Jermey was over joyed as Lauren agreed to the date. They had their first date at Maggiano's Italian Restaurant. They spent hours (From 3PM-10PM! )talking back and forth about their lives, beliefs, and their hopes for the future. These conversations just led to more talking to the point both were eating cold food. They both found it funny that they were given the same advice of "don't talk too much" from BOTH of their families. This date would be the beginning of a beautiful love story waiting to be unfolded.

Jermey and Lauren's love grew with each visit. Just after the first date, Lauren came down to Huntsville to see Jermey and do a weekend date, and show ultimate love to Jermey by going to see a Godzilla movie. Lauren also got to meet Jermey's parents and go to the church he attended regularly. Everyone was overjoyed that Jermey had found a woman like Lauren. Especially his father who said, "Just looking at you two I can tell she is good for you Jermey. She's a keeper". Jermey was happy to hear his father's approval.

This day was big day for Jermey and Lauren's relationship. Now Jermey loved Lauren a lot and want to establish their relationship on more firm and traditional grounds. Though Jermey was adult man, he spoke with Lauren's father. Jermey got her father permission and blessing to court or in modern terms make Lauren his girlfriend. Jermey then gave Lauren symbol of the love with a silver love necklace. Necklace is symbol of their love and that no matter how far away Jermey goes, his love is always with her. Lauren was overjoyed to become Jermey official girlfriend and she wore the necklace everyday. In celebration of this, Lauren took Jermey to a place she knew he would love. The board game cafe where they can eat and play free board games. Jermey indeed loved the cafe but most of all he loved playing board games with his new and beautiful girlfriend.

Christmas had finally come and the love of Jermey and Lauren continue to grow. Jermey had come up from Alabama to visit Lauren and spend Christmas Eve with her and her family. Here Lauren was the director of the party as she led the family into games and fun. Jermey felt honored and blessed to be apart of the family fun singing and playing fun party games. After the games and fun, Jermey and Lauren head back down to Alabama and spent Christmas with his family. Their first holiday together was magical filled with family, friends, and fun.

Our one month anniversary dinner. We did go the night before to fancy restaurant but had horrible experience that we shall re-tell. This night was make-up dinner which we went back to Maggianos and recreated our first date. The experience was amazing and we had the most amazing time. The added bonus on this week was that snow storm was coming in and it blanket all of Tennessee and North Alabama with snow. We then got spend week snowed in at her parents house where we had fun talking, playing board games, and going out in the snow.

Though the snowed thawed out love was this grow hotter and brighter with each weekend visit. They both set up cute dates with in their cities from going to Museums, cafes, or special events. Anything just spend time with each other and have fun. This weekend date had many stops with dinner night at Cotton Row with Jermey's Parents, meeting his best friend Jordan's family, and more fun times at Real Church.

Jermey and Lauren's love grew with every adventure they took. They adventure high and low to many places like hill tops of Birmingham, shores of the Black Warrior River (Next to Alabama Stadium, Roll Tide!), mucky waters of Guntersville, and even the high lands of Chattanooga. Meeting friends and family along the way for fun and games. However, no matter where they went or met they had amazing day for in the end they had each other.

Jermey and Lauren soon became each other biggest supporters in whatever they did. Here Lauren has come down from Tennessee to support Jermey as he directed the Willy Wonka play. Lauren and Jermey were also big support of their friends as one had come down to Alabama to have dinner as one of the best restaurants in Huntsville for their birthday.

Soon Summer arrived and Jermey and Lauren were cruise board with friends. Having adventures in other nations like the Bahamas. June was already here and Jermey Lauren had been together for over 6 months. Many would think their love would settle or at least stop growing, but their love continue to grow. However, Jermey knew Lauren deserves better title than his girlfriend. Jermey knew he want Lauren to be his wife so he set in motion efforts to show his love and devotion to her.

Jermey first set of devotion of love was leaving Alabama by getting job just town over from Lauren in White House Tennessee. He went from being 3 hours away from her to just being 15 minutes away. This made their love grow even more as they spent every evening having dinner together with each other or family. This was big step for Lauren and Jermey love and grew them ever closer.

Jermey and Lauren begin having regular date nights and just see each other every day. They watch shows together like "The Rings of Power" and even episodes of "Survivor". This made Jermey realize the life he could have with Lauren everyday so he continue to save for a ring. His search for ring was short for Lauren had her heart set on one but it took time to acquire the funds for it. However, he did purchase it and wait for it delivery

First wedding as a couple. Jermey and Lauren's love has been growing and expanding for 9 months now with Jermey secretly getting a ring for Lauren. Jermey uses this event to help bring up discussion about how their wedding will be one day. Allowing Lauren and him to plan their wedding even before the ring is on her finger. Now they had talk before about a wedding but here where they really discuss what their wedding will be like.

October had rolled around and it is the month Lauren wants to rain down gifts and adventures on Jermey. Though Alabama had lost (TO VANDY!!! COME ON!!!) Lauren had her first Alabama game and we had fun. This was also the beginning of Fall Break and the beginning the engagement countdown. Just one more week later I would be proposing to her.

Another adventure in the books as Lauren and Jermey explore Chattanooga and the area around it. It just reminds them of what their love is built on, which was love, adventure, and God. So in just 5 more days Jermey was going to get on one knee and change their relationship

"She said YES!!!!!". The day of proposal was one where we wake up at 5am to go to fantastic breakfast place. We enjoy breakfast and then went up the mountain to the Gatlinburg Overlook. Jermey pick this place for this was a special place to Lauren. He then want to make this place special to them as he got on one knee and pop the question to start a new chapter in their lives. We are now engaged.
