A picnic and kayaking trip on Big Darby Creek! This is the day Spencer asked Jess to officially be his girlfriend. And flipped his kayak and soaked their lunch 😂

After a spring of fun, Jess set off to Florence, Italy for the summer! Spencer and Jess spent 2 months apart but Spencer surprised Jess with a picture frame with a photo of them and a special treat 💶 behind it to use for a fun activity while she was away!

Back to campus! Spencer’s first semester at OSU. Jess & Spencer love to cheer on the Buckeyes together!

Their first ever backpacking trip! Red River Gorge in Kentucky. They had an awesome time although Jess had a cold the entire weekend.

Jess turns 21!!! Spencer and Jess celebrated in her hometown in Oxford, OH and spent their first Christmas together

Happy New Year! Jess & Spencer spend NYE at The Library, one of their favorite bars on campus, with Grant & Mike

Spontaneous trip to Charleston, SC! They left during a ice storm in Columbus and made it to Charleston around 3am. They had to put up a tent in the middle of the night! They really enjoyed exploring downtown Charleston and walking along the beach 🌊

Spenc & Jess fly across the country to Washington and California. While in WA they explored Seattle, went whale watching with Jon and Jacquie, stayed at an Indian reservation and got lost in the mossy wonderland that is the HOH Rainforest.

In CA they visited Spencer’s good friend from Give and lived like Cali locals!! ☀️

Jess goes away for the summer… again! This time to Stone Lab on Lake Erie. She met a lot of great friends this summer!

Spencer & Jess travel down to Knoxville, TN to watch the solar eclipse in totality! They left on a whim and slept in their car in a Kroger parking lot 🚙

Spencer Graduated from Ohio State.

Quick trip to Las Vegas. We rented an electric car and had to forgo Red Rocks and Hoover dam in fear of losing too much charge. This led to an unexpected extended stay in the casino district ......

We love to frequent the Franklin Park Conservatory.

Spencer and Jess actually camped outside Buckeye Donuts for hours to receive free flight vouchers during a unique promotional campaign. They then used that award to fly to California and explore San Fransico and Yosemite. An epic adventure for sure..

Went up to Buffalo, NY for a concert for Spencer's birthday. Had to stop by Niagara Falls for a quick pix.

Spencer's farewell party. He traveled down to the Great Smoky Mountains for 11 months to serve with Americorps working with the National Park Service.

While Spencer was living in the GRSM in TN, Jess came to visit and got the full VIP tour.

Jess & Spencer attend Forecastle, their first music festival, in Louisville, KY.

Spencer surprised Jess with ski tickets for her birthday. She spent the morning with a ski instructor named Flipper to learn the ropes. By the end of the day Jess was tearing up Mad River.

White water rafting at Ohiopyle. Jess almost lost her contacts 100 times and was terrified the entire time. Spencer was living his best life.

In July of 2020 after living in an apartment with no ac, sharing a car for two years and saving all their pennies.... they bought a duplex! Troy and Tammy came over to help build shelves in the pantries and closests!

Richard & Casey get married! The day was spent with friends and many loved ones.

This weekend they went on a backpacking trip to Shawnee State Forest near Portsmouth, OH. While they were walking through pine grove that crossed over a beautiful creek Spencer got down on one knee and asked Jess to marry him!!
