Scioto Grove metropark is about 20 minutes south of downtown Columbus. There is parking available and multiple handicap spots. If you plan to enjoy the adult beverages provided we advise that you Uber.

The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire. Ladies should wear cocktail dresses, and the gentlemen should wear nice pants(khakis, dark jeans, slacks), button up and tie or a sports coat.

The temperatues in Ohio in June are comfortable with lows in the 60s and highs in the low 80s .

The ceremony and reception are taking place at the same venue.

The ceremony will be outdoors and the reception will be a mix of indoors and outdoors.

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception area and help themselves to the grazing table and drinks.

While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

We have a strict guest list to stay within the constraints of the venue. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only be able to accomodate those listed on your invitation.

We do not have a hotel block for guests. We feel that you should stay wherever you are comfortable and within your budget. We have listed hotels in the travel section for options.

Yes, we encourage guests to post pictures on their social media channels. Our only requests are that there are no phones/cameras during the ceremony and that you tag each photo with our wedding hashtag (#MartinDownTheAisle) so we can keep track of all of your pictures!

Drinks will be self serve. Our venue allows us to have beer, wine and champagne. We will have coolers of beer and a keg or two, wine bar and champagne for everyone. We will also have many non-alcoholic options. If there is a specific beverage you’d like we encourage you to BYOB.
