The first night Jess and Aaron met, they were in local bar. Suprise, suprise! So the story goes...

Jess went to a friends holiday party and after a few cocktails, the girls decided to frequent their favorite estabilishment, The Brickyard.

That same night, Aaron was also at a friends holiday party. When his friends decided to all split up, Aaron wanted to take on the town alone and play his cards!

Lo and behold, he wound up at The Brickyard with a PBR in his hand, twirling a few beautiful ladies around. One of those beautiful ladies happened to have on a blue snowman dress, with curled hair and red lipstick. Aaron’s weakness! For the rest of the night, they enjoyed eachothers company laughing and dancing the night away.

A few days later, the two went on their first date to Wooden Robot Brewery. They hit it off right away and both realized how much fun (and loud) the other person was.

Two years later, during the middle of a pandemic, Aaron made the big jump to move from South End to Matthews to live with Jess.

Three years after moving in together, Jess and Aaron went on a weekend getaway to an A-Frame house near a few wineries. Of course, Lily had to go to be a part of this big moment! The couple enjoyed a casual night stargazing, dancing in the kitchen and playing games. The next day, as Jess was getting ready for a day of wine and charcuterie, Aaron came back inside with Lily. Jess noticed he was fixing his hair in the windows and wondered what was going on. When Aaron asked Jess to come into the living room to see what was tied on Lily’s collar, she knew right away what was happening. Aaron got down on one knee and asked Jess to marry him and she said yes!
