Charlie and Jess's love story began in the most modern of ways: on Hinge! Going in to it Charlie and Jess had two different viewpoints. For Charlie it was the last online date he would ever go on. As for Jess, she almost cancelled last minute to go to hot yoga. So with that strong start, they headed to Positino (a wine bar in town) for their first date. But as soon as they saw each other, they knew they made the right choice. Jess wasted no time teasing Charlie about his college choice in Omaha, setting the playful tone for their budding romance. Who knew Omaha could be such a great conversation starter?

After the first date and a couple of Suns basketball games, Charlie knew he had a real winner. Experiencing firsthand “When you know you know."

After a month or so of seeing each other, Charlie asked Jess on a trip to Sedona. He planned to tell Jess he loved her during the trip, thinking it would be the perfect place. But his excitement got the best of him and a few days before the trip unable to contain his feelings any longer, Charlie said "I love you." Jess told him that it wouldn't of mattered how soon he said it because she felt the exact same way.

Charlie and Jess found themselves talking more and more about what they wanted for the future, as usual they were on the exact same page. They had just attended a wedding in good ol’ Omaha, NE of all places. After that trip they both knew they wanted to spend forever with each other. Because if Jess could have fun in Omaha with Charlie, she knew they could have fun no matter what.

Charlie and his family asked Jess if she would like to come along on a trip to Italy (Fun fact: Charlie’s dad had actually asked Jess if she was coming on the trip after only a month or so of knowing each other.) It was clear Jess fit right in with the family.

After spending some time in Rome and the beautiful town of Positano, Charlie had a surprise planned. Charlie took Jess on a romantic getaway to Capri. Knowing that with the beautiful location and a beautiful girl he couldn’t lose. Charlie brought her to the Gardens of Augustus which overlooks the beautiful coastline and the Via Krupp. There Charlie asked Jess to spend the rest of her life with him. There are days that stand out when you can remember every moment, they make you feel absolute joy, this was one of those.

Now, after a year filled with constant laughter, adventures, and a whole lotta love, Charlie and Jess can’t wait to celebrate their love with their favorite people. If there is a theme from this story, it clearly is “when you know you know." They are without a doubt soulmates and are looking forward to spending forever together.
