Tinakilly is about 45-60 min drive from Dublin and Dublin Airport, via the M50 and/or N11. We will also have a shuttle from Dublin to Tinakilly for those that are not renting a car. It will leave from the Staycity Aparthotels in Christchurch on Tuesday at about 1/1:30pm. PLEASE NOTE - there is only enough room for those who signed up for the shuttle. There will also be a return shuttle to Dublin on Thursday morning. There are public transportation options available (the 133x run by Bus Éireann), but we highly recommend renting a car for the duration of your trip! Few things to keep in mind:

- In Ireland they drive on the left side of the road, similar to the UK.

- Manual transmissions are much more common for car rentals in Ireland, and while automatic is an option, it is often more expensive.

- Traffic circles and roundabouts are very common.

- There are a lot of narrow roads when you are driving through the countryside, so just be patient and take your time!

If you do rent a car, make sure to research that company's terms and conditions regarding collision damage waivers (CDW). I prefer to choose the SCDW or Super Collision Damage Waiver. It's an extra €20-€30 per day depending on the car, but it eliminates the up to €5,000 deposit that most rental companies in Ireland charge if you opt for the most basic coverage or decline their CDW.

There are accommodations on-site at our wedding venue - for up to 100 people. However, this is where our immediate family and wedding party will be staying. For the rest of those rooms it is on a first come, first served basis. As of now they are fully booked, so I would suggest booking at one of the hotels listed below. There is also a glamping option on-site. These are luxury camping yurts right next to the venue with views of the sprawling green hills. We have blocked rooms at all three of the below hotels. We will have a shuttle for all guests staying at these hotels. There are also plenty of Airbnbs and vacation rentals in the area for great rates if you prefer that option! We suggest searching near the Rathnew area as that is where our venue is located.
