The best airport to fly into is the Denver International Airport (DIA). We recommend flying in a couple days early if you can so you can get acclimated to the elevation and make it a fun vacation!
Accommodations
If you have time, you can stay in Denver for a night or two to acclimate if you're concerned about the elevation, but for wedding night, we recommend getting a short term rental in/near Jefferson.
There are rental cabins (check AirBnb, Vrbo, etc.) in surrounding areas in Jefferson/Como, such as the Michigan Hill neighborhood, a 5 minute drive from the venue. There are also newer, bigger rental homes in Fairplay (the closest town) about 15 minutes from the venue. Some guests may opt to stay in Breckinridge for the weekend to explore the popular larger mountain town full of summer activities, but it is about 50 minutes from the venue. Lastly, if you wish to fully immerse yourself in nature, you have the option to camp on the venue site at no cost, whether in a tent, RV, or other accommodations.
Transportation
The venue is an hour and a half from downtown Denver or Boulder via a beautiful, scenic drive. You can rent a car (or RV/camper van if you want to camp at the venue for free!). We encourage you to carpool when possible to save on parking space (and the planet).
Driving Instructions
Our venue is a bit remote, so some navigation apps have trouble finding the entrance road.
If you put "Guyton Ranch" in Google Maps, it will take you to a backroad behind the ranch. Instead, take a right where you see the ranch entrance on US Hwy 285. See photo below for clarification.
Apple Maps will not take you to the venue at all. Waze works great and takes you to the accurate entrance.
You can also put in "85W4+3M9" in Google Maps to take you to the entrance or "33833-34065 US-285" in Apple Maps.
Parking Instructions
When you take a right to get off US Hwy 285 and enter the ranch's private road, you can park in front of the ranch white picket fence in the grass, or the private road for overflow parking. See photo below for clarification, but staff will also be there to assist you.
