Flights and Airports

Flights to San Francisco International, Oakland International, or Santa Rosa airports are convenient within a 90-minute drive of the wedding venue.

Reaching the Ranch can be a bit tricky. Parking is limited, so we kindly encourage guests to carpool with two or more people per vehicle whenever possible. Please note that the surrounding roads are narrow, winding country lanes. Your safety is our top priority—drive slowly and responsibly.

Lodging

Lodging in the area surrounding our venue can get expensive, and early booking is strongly suggested. If you have questions on where to stay please don't hesitate to reach out.

Room Block available! A shuttle may be arranged if enough guests book and request it. Mention us when booking... Near Phoenix Theater, downtown Petaluma. Make yourself at home in one of the 91 individually decorated guest rooms, featuring refrigerators and LED televisions. Near Dillon Beach. Make yourself at home in one of the 15 individually decorated guest rooms, featuring kitchens. Rooms have private patios. 36-inch Smart televisions with digital programming provide entertainment, while complimentary wireless internet access keeps you connected. Conveniences include separate sitting areas and electric kettles. Located in Dillon Beach, Dillon Beach Resort is 10 minutes from the wedding venue.

* Weekends at Marconi are released 3 months in advance of booking* Lodge at Marconi has a rich history as a landmark of the destination; the property was originally built in 1914 as a radio receiving station by Guglielmo Marconi, often credited as the “inventor of radio.” In the early 1960s, a rehabilitation facility known as Synanon took over the site, eventually becoming an infamous “alternative lifestyle community” that eventually dissolved.&nbsp;In recent years, it primarily served as a site for non profit and corporate retreats, conferences, and weddings. Its location within Tomales Bay showcases the natural beauty of the West Marin coastline. The region is best known for its abundance of outdoor pursuits, vineyards, creameries, and oyster farms. It is conveniently located only 5 minutes from the wedding venue.

Nestled in the tiny town of Tomales, Marin County on Coastal Route One is a bit of California history: The Tomales Hotel. This one-of-a-kind boutique hotel offers contactless self-check in. Upon arrival you will receive your code to the lobby where the key to your room will be waiting. We offer king beds in our single rooms and 2 queen beds in our double rooms.&nbsp;All rooms have private bathrooms. Re-established in 2022, The Tomales Hotel has been&nbsp;refreshed with a rural-goes-modern décor. Our hotel&nbsp;is an easy and scenic drive from Petaluma through rolling hills of gold and green to the crossroads at the very heart of Tomales on CA-1.&nbsp;Tomales is a short drive from Point Reyes National Seashore, Dillon Beach and Bodega Bay. We met in Marin County, drawn together by a love for the outdoors and a shared commitment to wildfire resilience. What began as a professional connection soon felt effortless, much like the landscapes we love to explore. Our story truly began when Todd encouraged Jess to transfer to his alma mater, the University of Montana. A casual dinner during one of Todd’s visits sparked something special, leading to long-distance calls, spontaneous trips, and shared adventures through Montana’s seasons.

We quickly realized how much we thrive in places that balance simplicity and beauty—whether hiking coastal trails, marveling at Montana’s vast landscapes, exploring botanical gardens or enjoying quiet evenings cooking together. Our shared curiosity and love for nature have shaped our relationship, helping us grow as partners.

A defining moment came during a trip to Costa Rica when Jess sprained her ankle. Todd’s care and humor during that time reflected the heart of our partnership—one rooted in support and joy, even in the unexpected.

Faith and family have also been central to our journey. Raised in the Episcopal tradition, we’ve found grounding in shared values and cherished time with loved ones. Todd’s proposal was a beautiful surprise, with Jess’s closest friends and family gathered near the place where we’ll soon say, “I do.”

On November 1, 2025, we’ll tie the knot, surrounded by those who’ve been part of our journey. Whether you’ve been with us from the start or are joining us now, we can’t wait to celebrate this day together, creating memories in a place we both hold dear.

We acknowledge that the ceremony is located on the unceded ancestral lands of the Coast Miwok people of present-day Marin and southern Sonoma counties. We honor with gratitude the land itself, and all of its ancestors: past, present, and emerging.
