Why Puerto Vallarta?
Why not! If you know us, we are big on travel. We are fortunate to have family and friends across the nation and some in other parts of the world. We figured it would be most fair to have our celebration somewhere nice, warm, and by the beach.
When should we book our room at the venue?
We are encouraging everyone to book their rooms as soon as you receive the invitation. Your credit cards will NOT be charged until after you check out on Sunday 3/22/26. The room booking will simply be a hold and a way for the venue to count your RSVP.
Will transportation be provided from the airport?
Unfortunately transportation will not be provided from the airport. The hotel is only a 20 min drive however. There are taxis available for hire just outside of the airport. Make sure you go to the window to book it. You can pay with your credit card for this.
What's included in our room?
Included in your room rate is 5 days/4 nights national open Bar for 2 guests per bedroom (unlimited beer, well alcohol, water, juices, sodas, coffee and tea, 8am-11pm) at the bar, breakfast buffets each day, wedding day lunch, post-wedding day brunch, and 2 dinners (Wed and Thurs) not including the day of the wedding reception.
What times will food and drinks be served?
Breakfast Buffets for Wed-Fri are served from 8am - 10 am.
Wedding Day Lunch (Fri) will be served from 12:30pm - 2pm.
After Wedding Brunch (Sat) will be served from 10am - 12pm.
Dinners will be served at 7pm and will go for an hour.
National Open Bar is open from 8a - 11pm.
Lunch, snacks, and bar upgrades are available for purchase.
What time should I arrive?
We'll send out a more precise daily schedule closer to March, but we recommend arriving as early as you can on Wednesday 3/18/26 to get settled in before the welcome dinner. Check in is officially at 4pm, but you may be allowed to check in to your rooms sooner. Everyone will be staying through the weekend and leaving on Sunday 3/22/26. Many people, including ourselves, are arriving a few days earlier and staying at nearby hotels to make a full week's vacation out of it.
Do we have to stay at the hotel?
We STRONGLY encourage you to stay at the hotel considering we have reserved the entire property for our guests AND all wedding related events will be taking place at the hotel each day with the exception of Saturday after the wedding. If you choose not to stay in the hotel, we must know immediately as there is a $112 fee per person + tax and 15% tip (for any other days other than the wedding day itself) to have any outside guests come in who are not staying on property. This will allow access to amenities and open bar. There are additional fees to take part in the dinners on site if not staying at PF.
Can I bring my kids? Is the wedding adults only?
While we do love your little ones, space at the venue is limited so we've chosen to make this an adult only celebration. And as much as we're sure you hate to leave them, we hope you can fully embrace it as a little vacation for yourself.
Can I bring a date?
We have been very mindful of headcount and have had to be very selective about who we have invited to the wedding. Please call or text us if there are any questions.
What will the weather be like?
The weather in March is very pleasant, with warm days and cool evenings. During the end of March high temperatures are around 82°F and low temperatures are around 63°F.
Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?
Everything will take place outside at Playa Fiesta! Our wedding ceremony is on their pergola, and the reception will be by the main pool area. The wedding is beach side but not on the beach, so you will be okay to wear regular shoes.
What time will the reception end?
1 am is when we have to cut off the music, but we'll be hosting an afterparty in one of the rooms to keep the party going!
Do I need to speak spanish to get around?
No, there are alot of English speakers throughout PV. Although it would be good to brush up on some useful phrases.
Is there a golf course you can recommend?
Most go golfing at the Marina Golf Club (approximately 35 minutes from Playa Fiesta)
Only Breakfast and Dinner is included, what about Lunch?
Lunch on the day of the wedding will be provided as well as brunch the day after. For the other days, we highly recommend you explore and get lunch out, PV has so many great places to try! If you're feeling like you'd prefer to stay on the property you can buy lunch a la carte via this menu. Lunch is available from 12 - 4 pm.

Do we have to eat dinners at the venue?
No not at all, but they are included in your room booking. We would love to spend time with as many people as we can this weekend though!
When should we book massages?
Massages can be booked at the front desk, upon arrival :)
Do you have a gift registry?
While we do have a registry, we do not expect any gifts. We know traveling isn't easy so we've decided having you there celebrating with us is the best gift we could possibly ask for. So your presence is more than enough.
