While there are other towns closer to our wedding venue at Ballyseede, we're encouraging everyone to make Killarney their hub for the festivities. Our welcome drinks and day 2 party will be hosted there, and the town's energy and charm will undoubtedly enhance your experience.

As for the wedding night accommodations, we highly recommend the enchanting setting of Ballyseede. Come on it's a Castle! haha

American and International Travelers

If you are traveling to Ireland from outside of the country, there are two international airports you can fly into. Shannon International Airport, which is roughly 1.5 hours from Killarney, and Dublin International Airport, which is 3.5 hours from Killarney.

If you plan to explore Ireland before or after the wedding, rent a car. You will need it to get around the country.

If you plan to explore other parts of Europe or come to Ireland just for the wedding, you don't necessarily need a car. If you fly into Shannon, you can take the bus or get a cab. If you fly into Dublin, you can take a local flight to Kerry Airport followed by a 15-minute cab ride either to Ballyseede Castle or Killarney, depending on your arrival. You can train from Dublin Airport to Killarney or organize a car service.

**Ubers do not exist --You can utilize taxi's to explore local attractions in Killarney and County Kerry. There is a dedicated cab rank in Killarney town center at College Square.
