Ryan and Jessica first met at Penn State Scranton University in the Fall of 2017. They were both involved with the athletics department which was where they had their first interactions with each other. They slowly became closer and closer as friends until they were basically inseparable. In December of 2018, Ryan made an honorable decision to serve our country by joining The United States Marine Corps while Jessica continued working through her courses at Penn State. They wrote letters to each other during Ryan’s time in boot camp and missed each other dearly. Shortly after Ryan’s graduation from boot camp and move to Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, did they realize they had fallen in love with their best friend. On Labor Day, 2019, they started their dating journey. Being in a long distance relationship is difficult. But being in a long distance military relationship takes difficult to a whole new level. Month after month went by without seeing each other and they spent facetime call after facetime call trying to get a taste of being together. Ryan deployed multiple times overseas, sometimes separating them for over a year. Things got hard and at times the distance seemed almost impossible. Even so, they fought hard for each other and promised to keep fighting. Once Ryan was stationed in California in 2022 and Jessica had graduated college and started a full time job, they were able to spend a little more time together. They drove across the country together twice, Jessica flew out to California 6 times within 2 years and Ryan flew home a few times as well in between those visits to California. They made countless memories together and got to visit some amazing places in the United States. In 2019 they made a promise to each other that they would make it through the distance, and in February of 2024, they did just that. Ryan officially was home and they were finally able to put the distance behind them! Since then they have been able to develop a stronger relationship with each other and grow closer to The Lord. On June 8th 2024 at Jessicas 25th birthday party, Ryan had her open a gift in front of her closest friends and family. It was a beautiful jewelry box. As Jessica was opening it, he told her there was something she could already put in it. When she turned to look at him, he was on his knee with her dream ring, asking her to marry him. It was the easiest Yes! of her life. They are both so thankful that The Lord has given them the opportunity to love another person as deeply as they do. They are beyond blessed to get to spend their lives together, while giving Him the glory. This is Forever ♡ “So they are no longer two but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.” Matthew 19:6

The bride's beautiful sister, absolute favorite person, other half and lifelong best friend. From their childhood adventures to their late-night heart-to-hearts, Sarah has been there through everything. The bride couldn’t imagine having anyone else standing by her side on her big day

Sarah Stone 

Holly is the bride's cousin and has been a huge part of Jess's life since she was 8 years old. Since then Holly has become a spiritual mentor for Jess and guided her through the hard seasons of life and celebrated her in the exciting ones. Holly has always taken time to invest in Jess from the minute she came into the family. Holly is one of the most joyful people Jess has ever met and it radiates into all aspects of her life as a friend, wife and mother! 

Holly Berger 

A friend that has the sweetest and most kind soul. Sam has been super supportive and helpful through all aspects of wedding planning! The bride is privileged to also call Sam family and loves how close they have become. Sam is always looking to give advice and help others in any way she can. 

Samantha Berger  

One of the brides best friends, who has never failed to show her what true love and loyalty looks like. They have the best nicknames for each other and can finish each other’s sentences. Cali is Jess’s favorite teammate, her biggest motivator, and her always and forever girl. 

Calagera Pagano 

The bride's cousin who has always been her hype girl. Knowing Jess’s interest of collecting bicycle playing cards, Bri surprises Jess with a new deck at almost every family function. This shows Jess that Bri thinks of others all the time and finds ways to bring them joy. Bri is a great listener and never fails to make Jess laugh. 

Brianna Smith

A girl who quickly became the brides best friend and connects with her deeply on so many levels. Bekah is a friend who prays with Jess, corrects her with love, carries no hate, no envy, celebrates her when she wins, and pushes her to be her best. Bekah’s friendship to Jess is an answer to a long awaited prayer. 

Rebekah Remp

The brides mom, her beach bestie, role model and shoulder to cry on. She always picks up the phone when Jess calls and gives the world’s best hugs. Words will never be able to express how thankful Jess is to call this woman her “Momma”. 

Yvonne Berger

The brides Dad, her football buddy, favorite teacher, and #1 fan and supporter. He never missed a volleyball or basketball game and that is something Jess will never forget. Her Dad is her hero. 

Arnie Berger

Dawn has always been Ryan's greatest protector. Someone who Ryan can lean on in time of need. Dawn has helped Ryan become stronger in many aspects of his life. She showed an immense amount of support throughout his life especially during his military time. Ryan has a lot of pride and thanks to God for blessing him with such an amazing mother.

Dawn Osborne 

Paul has played many roles for Ryan in his life. A father, a coach, a teacher, and a friend. For every role he has played, it has only strengthened their relationship. Most people would say that Ryan is a spitting image of Paul, something that Ryan has become proud of. Unfortunately, this is also where Ryan's sarcasm comes from. 

Paul Osborne 

A friend, a mentor, a call or text away, and a brother for life. Isaac is someone who Ryan met during their time in the Marine Corps. Isaac was Ryan's roommate for 2 years and they experienced the intensity of deployment together. Isaac is someone that can be counted on through thick and thin, he would give the shirt off his back to help anyone in need.

Isaac Vicente 

James is the bride's cousin and someone that Ryan has found he has a lot in common with. Over the last year, James and Ryan have developed a strong friendship. Although, it's only been a short period of time that Ryan has gotten to know James, James has offered to help Ryan with anything he needs. Ryan is excited to be able to call James family and is eager to continue deepening their friendship. 

James Berger

Patrick and Ryan have known each other their entire lives. The memories with Patrick go back to videogames, little league baseball and the Blitz Ball teams they had created in his yard. Patrick currently serves in U.S. Army as a Staff Sergeant and seeking a promotion to Sergeant First Class soon. Patrick is someone who Ryan truly cherishes as a friend. 

Patrick West 

Jesse is Ryan's soon to be brother in law. He is someone who Ryan has been able to grow spiritually with through conversation and mentorship. They have been getting closer over the last few years as friends and now brothers. Ryan is looking forward to continuing to grow this friendship with Jesse into a brotherhood.
