Jess and Matt’s story started over an app. Not just any kind of app like mozzarella sticks, but Hinge. Shortly after messaging one another they realized they had mutual friends through ultimate frisbee. After a few days of messaging, Jess and Matt had their first date at Side Bar in West Chester, PA. It was love at first sight - despite Jess being late. They made their relationship official on July 29, 2019. They went on many adventures together during their first few months of dating - NY road trip, Canada, Shenandoah National Park, Joshua Tree, and the Poconos.


Jess and Matt moved into their first apartment together in May 2020 and spent many days enjoying a new hobby during the pandemic, disc golfing.


After 6 months of living together Jess convinced Matt they needed a puppy in their lives. Soon after - they welcomed Luca.


Jess and Matt spent a year in West Chester in their apartment when they decided they wanted to embark on homeownership. After many offers and house tours, they bought their first home in Delaware in August 2021.


Fast forward a few years later, Matt proposed to Jess on February 25, 2024 at Alapocas State Park in Delaware. He walked her through the woods on the trail and led her to a view of the water. Shortly after taking in the views Matt proposed. He surprised her at home with champagne and Jess’ family.


Jess and Matt are looking forward to creating more memories together as husband and wife and can’t wait to celebrate with all their family and friends on their wedding day!
