This old fashioned ice cream parlor is just across the river in North Augusta, SC and it is very close by to Jessica's school, North Augusta Elementary. Derek's children, Everett (7) and Julianne (5), recommend the Super Man ice cream!

This is the place to go for delicious pastries Saturday morning. Jessica and Derek love the fritters and cinnamon rolls. You can stop by and then take a stroll through downtown North Augusta.

Park here to easily access the beautiful North Augusta Greenway, where Jessica often goes to run. This is a flat, 7 mile paved trail that offers lots of shade, benches, and water stops along the way.

Just across the river and located in beautiful Hammond's Ferry, this is an excellent spot for brunch or dinner.

This is a great place to go for a shady walk nearby. Be on the look out for all kinds of wildlife. You might even spot an alligator in the water!
