Our Wedding

We met in college in 2018. Our first date was a Blues hockey game (Tyler’s first). We liked each other so much we went to a Steak n Shake and talked for 2 more hours after the game. Every year for our anniversary, we go back to the hockey game. Except in 2023, when Tyler took Jess to the Mizzou football game to get down on one knee and propose!!! Our story is truly city mouse, country mouse. Jessica had never been on a gravel road in her life until she drove up one to Tylers house for the first time. She was a vegetarian city girl and he was a hunting fishing country man but love is weird and opposites attract so here we are! We are so grateful for all of our friends and family and all of their support of our relationship. This wedding is about celebrating us but also about celebrating with our loved ones who love and care about us - so let’s party!

This is on-site lodging. It is a 1-minute walk (or stumble) to your room. We know some guests will be driving over an hour to our wedding so we wanted to pick a spot where guests could stay so no one has to worry about drinking and driving.There is no room block because we reserved the entire hotel for our wedding guests!! There are 30 hotel rooms and 3 cottages available for renting so if you want a room please book it sooner rather than later to get your ideal pick. The cottages have multiple rooms available if you want to go in with a group. The prices range from $140-400 but there is a 10% wedding discount that will be applied to your room. Free golf, a pool, and fishing are included with your stay.

If you have time before the wedding and are making the long drive to New Haven, the gin and tonic at Pickney Bend is phenomenal and worth a try!

Great chicken in Hermann! Tyler and Jess always get the 50 Chicken Lip Combo!

Wings Ablazin

Great dinner for Friday night or lunch for Saturday if you’re looking for something before the ceremony! You’ll love the drive to Hermann and this is the first restaurant you see driving in to beautiful historic Hermann! 

Tin Mill Restaurant

This is a good spot to get a burger or food if you arrive early and want to stay in New Haven. For Jessica's People - this is the Fergie's of New Haven!

T&T Hilltop Lounge

Another good spot for lunch if you need somewhere for lunch near the New Haven area! About a 20 minute drive!

Dos Primos Mexican Restaurant

If you want to go to the bar for a pre-ceremony cocktail, this is the place to go and stop in beautiful Washington MO riverfront on the way. Its the perfect small-town bar vibe with a nice outdoor seating area.

Marquarts Landing Inc

Our go-to golf course. If you need something to do when coming in to town, this is a great place to start the day. (If you are staying at the hotel, there is a free onsite executive course though! 

Wolf Hollow Golf Club

This is a great stop for beer! Really friendly bartenders, great selection of beer, and some light food options! The vibes are incredible here!
