Friday night boat parking: Due to the 2 hour parking limit in Sunapee Harbor, the Town of Sunapee has asked that all of our guests park in the lot behind the Gazebo. Follow signs for the Boat Launch route and it will bring you where you need to be!
You will be required to ride on a chairlift to the summit for our wedding ceremony. The ride will take about 12-15 minutes from the base.
Please be on the chairlift by 2:45 at the latest. There is a lodge at the summit to get a drink or walk around the summit to take in the gorgeous fall foliage before the 3:30 ceremony.
General FYI for those traveling from out of state: it is a 2-2.5 hour drive from Boston Logan airport to the hotels, if you do not think you will be able to make the 5pm Night Before Welcome event in that time frame please do not RSVP “yes” as the boat is a 85 person max capacity.
When should I RSVP by?
We recommend ASAP or by August 16! If you do not choose our hotels with wedding blocks we encourage booking the other accommodations soon, October in NH is a quite popular time of the year!
Are children invited?
As much as we love your little ones, we request adults only for our weekend unless specifically invited.
Transportation
We will provide a shuttle bus from the Mountain Edge Resort and Bluebird by Lark to/from our venue. Your hotel will have the timelines for transportation. We ask that everyone arrive at the mountain by 2:45pm AT THE LATEST. Our guests will be riding the Mount Sunapee quad chairlift to the summit for the ceremony to begin promptly at 3:30pm. Each chairlift ride takes on average 15mins.
Where should we stay?
Our first choice for our friends and families would be at the Mountain Edge Resort; They have suite style rooms that sleep 6,8,10 people making their rooms a great cost effective choice to share with other family/friends. Our second choice is the Bluebird at Sunapee directly across the street.
