RSVPs are due through this website by Friday, September 2nd. Please discuss with the bride and groom if you need a plus one but don't currently have one listed on your RSVP.
Where should I stay?
Union Station is attached to the Crowne Plaza hotel, where the bride and groom have reserved a block of rooms for wedding guests. This is the most convenient option. Please see the tab on this website titled, "Guest Accommodations," for additional information.
When do I need to book my stay?
The earlier the better! Reservations must be made for the Crowne Plaza hotel BEFORE 5:00 PM on Wednesday, September 7th 2022. If you do not book before this deadline, you will be responsible for finding your own accommodations. If you prefer not to stay at the Crowne Plaza but want to stay at a different hotel downtown, the bride and groom still recommend booking that as early as possible as October 8, 2022 is the most popular wedding date in Indianapolis this year.
What is Union Station?
Indianapolis' train station, known as Union Station, was originally built in 1853 and had five tracks running through a brick and frame building that offered passengers the convenience of a central transportation facility. Union Station's majestic red brick and granite “head house,” recognized as one of the finest Romanesque Revival-styled structures in America, replaced that original building in 1888. Built at a cost of one million dollars, its Grand Hall is one of the finest public spaces in the city. More information about the history of Indianapolis' Union Station can be found here:

Where is the venue?
While the address for the event is 123 W Louisiana Street, the actual entrance that guests should use for the ceremony is off of Illinois Street near the underpass of the bridge. (If you are staying at the hotel, then you can walk directly from your room to the venue without going outside, just follow the signs!) The Crowne Plaza hotel's entrance, which is attached to the venue, is located off of Louisiana Street. A picture below has been added for additional clarity. The blue X is the entrance to the venue, while the red circle is the entrance to the hotel. Overnight parking as well as day of valet parking is also at the entrance of the hotel.
Where should I park?
The bride and groom will not be providing transportation since the hotel they're recommending is attached to the venue itself, therefore, they recommend that you park at The Crowne Plaza. If you choose to stay at a hotel that is not within comfortable walking distance, they recommend taking an Uber or Lyft to the venue. The venue offers valet parking for $38 for the day or $45 for overnight. The Pan Am self-parking garage is located directly across the street from the hotel, and the current rate for 24hr/overnight parking is $28.
What time should I get to Union Station?
The ceremony will start RIGHT AT 5:30 PM. Please don't be late. Make sure you arrive no later than 5:15 PM.
What does Formal Attire mean? What should I wear?
With formal attire, women are encouraged to wear a floor-length gown, a cocktail dress, or a dressy pantsuit. Men are encouraged to wear a formal dark suit with a tie or bow tie. Men do not need to wear a tuxedo, unless you want to. You can never be too overdressed! Also, the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception are all inside. Here is a helpful guide if you still have questions on what Formal Attire means: https://www.theknot.com/content/formal-wedding-attire
What will there be to eat?
There will be heavy hor dourves served after the ceremony during cocktail hour. For dinner, the bride and groom will have several different food stations available that they will update on their website as it gets closer to their wedding date. If you have any dietary needs or restrictions, please let them know.
Is there an open bar?
The bride and groom are happy to offer an open bar at their wedding!
Can I bring a gift to the wedding?
The bride and groom are excited and honored to receive cards from guests (there will be a place to leave cards). They respectfully request that you do not bring larger gifts to the wedding. Please either have the gift shipped to the mother of the bride's house at 1357 Edinburgh Drive Carmel, IN 46033 or make a contribution to one of their cash funds on their registry.
Are kids going?
Yes! There will be youths under 18 at the ceremony and reception. If you want to bring your child, please check with the bride first if your child isn't already listed on your RSVP.
What time does the party end?
12 AM! The newlyweds will be exhausted, but they encourage those who are interested to continue the party elsewhere. The bride and groom are not throwing an after party.
Where are the newlyweds going for their honeymoon?
Italy! If you are still looking for a wedding gift, the bride and groom would be incredibly grateful for a contribution to their Honeymoon Cash Fund (found on their Registry Page).
