Our Story
8 Years in the Making
Nearly nine years ago, Jason and Jess met on the dating app, OKCupid. They went on their first date in April of 2016 and became friends almost immediately. They kept in touch even while Jason traveled to Venice, Italy on a study abroad that summer.
Making Things Official - May 2017
After taking time to get to know one another, they decided to take their status from dating to in a relationship.
Making Memories
From Broadway shows to trips up north, Jason and Jess saw their love and friendship grow over the years. They were delighted and surprised with how seamlessly they blended into the other's inner circles, soon becoming well-loved among each other's family and friends.
COVID-19 - A Small Hiccup
When lockdown was implemented during COVID in March of 2020, Jason and Jess were stuck in separate households. Being long-distance while only a 10-minute drive away was difficult for the two, but their love for one another persisted. So did their friendships: via zoom, they took part in virtual hangouts and game nights with friends.
First Apartment - December 2022
After a long and thorough apartment hunt, Jason and Jess found the apartment of their dreams in December of 2022.
