Can we bring our children?
We love your little ones but our wedding will be an Adults-only occasion. We hope this advanced notice means you will still be able to celebrate with us on our special day.
Are there any other wedding events?
The welcome party for out of state guests only will be at Cactus Jack’s in Evergreen. The event will start at 6pm. The address is 4651 County Hwy 73 Evergreen, CO 80439. There is a small parking lot at Cactus Jack’s. There is additional parking across Cactus Jack’s on 73. You’ll drive up a small road (Plettner Ln), and then you can see the additional parking in the upper lot. In addition to this lot, there is paid parking by Beau Jo’s in the heart of downtown Evergreen.
We will have a brunch for our families only the Sunday following the wedding at 11am. Please see the RSVP section on this website for invitations for these events. If you have any questions, please let one of us know.
The dress for these events are casual - you can wear dresses, jeans, whatever makes you comfortable!

What will parking be like at The Lakehouse in Evergreen?
There is limited parking at The Lakehouse in Evergreen. There will be shuttle points for out of state guests as well as at the park and ride in Evergreen. We ask that you carpool when possible! We will update the shuttle route on this page when available. Please note that guests will be dropped off at one location after the wedding, so if you plan on heading somewhere other than your hotel after the wedding, it’s best to drive to the wedding. There are no Ubers in Evergreen.

If you are not an out of town guest, the shuttles will be making rounds at the Evergreen Park and Ride (4350 Evergreen Pkwy, Evergreen, CO 80401) as well as the Safeway (3851 CO-74, Evergreen, CO 80439). There is limited parking at the venue, so if parking fills up, please park at one of these alternate locations so that we can get you a ride to the venue! :)
Post Ceremony
Shuttles will begin running post ceremony at 10:30pm and will stop at 12:30am (the reception ends at 11:00pm). The shuttles will drop you off where they picked you up (Comfort Suites, Residence Inn, park and ride or Safeway). If you are heading out after the wedding, please note that the shuttles will provide ONE ride to the guests. There are NO Ubers in Evergreen, so please plan ahead if you want to head out to another location after the wedding!
Are there hotels near by?
The Venue is in the beautiful mountain town of Evergreen, CO. We have looked into some accommodations that are not too far from the The Evergreen Lakehouse. They are listed under Travel. Please note that room blocks have now been released, but you can still call them for availability.
What is the dress code?
The dress code for the wedding is semi-formal (dressy casual attire). No jeans. Please do not wear any variation of white or ivory.
What are your wedding colors?
Our colors are sage green, peach, dusty blue and ivory.
The shuttles are picking up at what hotels?
The shuttles for out of state guests will pick up at the following hotels the day of the wedding only:
Alpen Way Chalet (Evergreen), Comfort Suites Golden West on Evergreen Parkway (Evergreen) and Residence Inn by Marriott (Golden).
Please note that after the wedding, the shuttles will provide one ride. If you plan on heading out to another location or bar, there are no Ubers available in Evergreen. Please plan accordingly!

How will the altitude impact me?
Everyone reacts to the altitude change differently. Some are more sensitive to the change than others. Symptoms of altitude sickness include nausea, headache, more difficulty breathing, difficulty sleeping, fatigue and loss of appetite. If you start to feel symptoms, it’s best to get to a lower altitude asap. You can help your body acclimate by staying hydrated. Please reach out with any questions.
