Many of you know the story of how Kyle and I met, but for those who don't, it began on a plane to Vegas in the Fall of 2017. I was headed on a girls' weekend, and Kyle was going to the Route 91 Country Music Festival. Fate intervened when we ended up seated next to each other, and we spent the entire flight talking, drinking and laughing. By the end of flight Kyle had charmed me with his sense of humor and bad jokes. We exchanged numbers! Although we didn't get to meet up as planned in Vegas due to the tragic events that weekend, we continued to talk, and our connection deepened.

Two weeks later, Kyle invited me to Sylvan, where he lived, and we spent an amazing weekend together, where I spent the weekend sleeping in the spare room ( if you ask Bob). From that point on, our relationship blossomed. We spent all of Kyle's days off together, traveling and splitting our time between Sylvan and Okotoks.

After six months of dating, we took a trip to Mexico with friends, and Kyle asked me to move in with him in Sylvan. I immediately said yes, found a job there, and made the move. We continued to travel, attend sporting events, and even added a furry family member, our golden retriever Brooke, to our lives.

Soon after, we were overjoyed to learn that we were expecting our first child, and in November 2019, we welcomed our beautiful daughter Kinsley. Life was busy and filled with joy as we celebrated all of Kinsley's milestones.

Christmas 2022 Kyle FINALLY proposed! A few short days later we welcomed our second beautiful daughter Clara to our family!

Now, we're in the final countdown to officially becoming the "Rehn's", and Kinsley can finally stop asking when I'll have the same last name as her!
