Star Stripes and Sprained Ankles - U.S.A v England
Join us for the ultimate pre-wedding showdown: a five-a-side football match where the Brits try to prove it’s called “football” and the Americans try to remember it’s not played with their hands. Expect questionable skills, over-the-top celebrations, and enough friendly banter to fill a stadium. Winner gets bragging rights — loser still gets cake (at afternoon tea).
Only one rule: no slide tackling the bride!

When old England meets New England!
Join us for a pre-wedding afternoon tea where British tradition meets American enthusiasm — and somehow, it works perfectly. The Brits will bring the scones and centuries of tea etiquette; the Americans will bring wide-eyed curiosity, heartfelt compliments, and probably ask if they can get their Earl Grey iced.
There may be confusion over what a digestive biscuit actually digests, debates about the correct jam-to-cream ratio, and someone will definitely call the tea “cute.” But amid the teacups and tiny sandwiches, something magical happens: laughter, connection, and transatlantic friendships brewed to perfection.
Fancy hats welcome. So is saying “y’all” with a posh accent.
