Our Wedding

How it Started...

Our story began in February of 2018, when we were both in our senior year of high school. For our first date, we went bowling at West Hunterdon Lanes in NJ, then to dinner at a Ginny's diner after. It was a double date with our friends that helped set us up together. It was a cute, awkward, high school first date but we clicked and were very interested to continue seeing each other after that. We continued going on dates all summer - from mini golf, to dinners, to movies, and hikes/beach trips.   That Fall, we were both going away to college and weren’t sure how things would work out being far from each other in new places. But despite the distance and busy schedules, we always made time to text, call, FaceTime, and plan occasional visits. We knew we had something really special together and after month of long distance with our relationship stating strong, we really wanted to make it work long term. It was difficult and required a lot of effort and love but so worth it.   We graduated college in 2022 and Aaron went on to start his PhD at Cornell University, so we began a new journey together in Ithaca, NY. Our time has been filled with laughs, joy, hiking, spending time with our kitty - Bo, enjoying the outdoors, movies, gym, spending time with our family & friends, and having so much fun together.   In May of 2024, we went on vacation to the White Mountains in New Hampshire to enjoy the views and hiking. Aaron proposed at Castle in the Clouds overlooking the stunning mountains and lakes in the area (Jess suspected it and made sure to have her nails done - lol). It was such a beautiful and special trip we spent much of the rest of the trip saying “AH we’re engaged! We’re getting married!” and staring at the ring.   We are now deep into wedding planning and having so much fun with it. We are so excited for the big day and all the moments between and after. We are so thankful and blessed we have found such an amazing, silly, fun love and we are truly best friends.
