Located less than 15 minutes away from the wedding venue, Johnson Beach is part of the Gulf Islands National Seashore and features miles of beaches, restrooms, grills, nature trails, and pavilions. It costs $25 per car to enter the park, but passes are valid for up to 7 days. The beaches are never crowded though, making up for the entry fee.

Pensacola Lighthouse & Maritime Museum

Built in 1859 and less than 10 minutes away from the wedding venue, the Pensacola Lighthouse is actively used by the US Coast Guard and is available to climb to the top for an incredible view of the Gulf for less than $10. They also host ghost tours, a museum, sunset and full moon climbs, and can be booked to watch the US Navys Blue Angels practice. Children must be at least 7 years old or 44 inches tall to participate.
