Traditionally, the rehearsal dinner is a way of thanking the wedding party for being a part of our special day. As a part of our wedding party, we know you guys are putting in a lot of time and energy to help us celebrate such a big day in our lives.

We want to thank you, and we want to thank you by throwing a fantastic dinner, paired with great drinks and lots of laughs and good times. We also want you to feel at ease, knowing you will be able to eat and drink and party and stay up as late you want, knowing you won't have to keep it together for our wedding the very next day.

This is why it was important to us to have the rehearsal and rehearsal dinner two days before our wedding, rather than the traditional day before.Plus, it forces you to spend more time with us. So eat, drink, and be ready for us to marry! This night is for you!! And we are so excited :)

The Twenty Mile House built in 1854 was originally a trading post for local gold miners and a stopping place for teamsters on the Reno-Quincy run. It gained the name Twenty Mile House, as its placement was 20 miles west of Beckworth and 20 miles east of Quincy. A stagecoach could travel 20 miles and the Twenty Mile House "soon went from just a stagecoach stop between settlements, to the center of Cromberg.

Now, the 20 Mile House is a beautiful wedding venue full of vintage charm, and fantastic views of the California mountains. The perfect place to start the first day of the rest of our lives!
