One random day sometime in December 2021, Nick friend requested me on Facebook. During the pandemic and all that crazy stuff, Nick took notice of my political beliefs and instantly fell in love with me. JK, kinda ;) He slid into my DMs where he was kindly denied at first because honestly I just had no idea who he was nor did I care to know. Well, that didn’t stop him from finding a way to talk to me. After being ignored, he followed me on instagram as well. He would start liking my stories or replying to them trying to get my attention. Eventually I was like, ok who is this kid??? I then put two and two together that he was the same kid who slid into my DMs on Facebook weeks ago. I was intrigued by the consistency so I stalked him a little and realized we had mutual friends and he lived a town away. I decided to entertain it because why not, it was during covid and my life was pretty boring. We got to talking and realized we had so much in common. Like the gentleman he is, he asked to take me on a date. I was hesitant at first and asked if he wanted to meet out at a bar or something more simple and he said that wasn’t his thing and he’d rather take me on a real date. It’s rare to find people like that so I took him up on his offer. He took me to Taka in asbury for our first date. We were endlessly talking about things and the night didn’t get awkward or boring. At the end of the night he drove me back to my car and gave me nothing other than a hug. He later texted me and told me he had a great night and definitely wanted to hangout again and I agreed. Welp long story short, years later and now we’re getting married :)
