The lodge where Chris and Jess are getting married has an annual New Year's Eve party on December 31st. We hope to see you there!

The lodge where the wedding will be has a ski resort nearby. Chris and Jess are avid skiers and you may see them out on the slopes! They also offer tubing and ice skating in the winter near the lodge.

Timberline Mountain is a short drive away from the lodge where the wedding will take place. Jess grew up skiing here and it has quickly become a favorite for Chris!

White Grass is a nearby resort that offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. Let Chris and Jess know if you try it out!

Blackwater Falls State Park is a short drive from Canaan Valley Resort. It has a few short paths that lead to the falls, and it's a beautiful sight to check out! They also offer sledding, which is a great group activity.

The town of Davis is a short drive from Canaan Valley Resort, and it has a few neat shops that you can check out! Jess and Chris highly recommend eating at Sirianni's and grabbing some coffee from Trailhead. Stumptown Ales and Big Timber Logging Camp are also located here!

The city of Thomas is a short drive from Canaan Valley Resort, and is an amazing place to spend some time! Jess's family history is heavily rooted in Thomas, and there are many art shops, stores, and coffee shops to check out there. In town, the Purple Fiddle has great live music, food, drinks, and ice cream. Mountain State Brewing Co. is also located here!
