Our neighboring town, Frisco, is a 10 minute drive and very cute. Head to Main Street for boutique shopping, stunning backdrops, hikes, restaurants, and the Frisco Bay Marina. You can rent water toys or grab a drink at the Island Grill. Our favorites in Frisco: Bread+Salt (favorite breakfast spot in all of Summit) and Uptown on Main (rooftop & patio).

Consider taking the Summit Shuttle Water Taxi to get from Dillon to Frisco Marina (and back); a super affordable way to get on the water.

WE LOVE BRECK. This is roughly a 25 minute drive, but so worth it. If you're looking for an outstanding meal -- you aren't going to find it in Silverthorne or Dillon (sorry, it's the truth!). You could spend hours in Breck walking Main Street; you'll find more stores, more hikes, more bars, more restaurants and an overall buzzing atmosphere.

Our favorites: Rootstalk (pricey, but our favorite for a nice night out), The Tavern Underground (our favorite late night drink spot - speakeasy vibes), RMU (bar that is always buzzing, younger crowd - front & back patio), Blue Stag (a Colorado classic; come here for drinks and apps at the bar or a full meal), and Tin Plate (don't skip on the salads; they rock).

Our favorite coffee shop and the most aesthetically enjoyable. Walkable to hotel; go sit on the back patio with your coffee or go for a river walk. Has bagels & breakfast burritos; our most-frequented local spot!

Walkable deli next to Red Buffalo. Open for breakfast & lunch; recommend for a quick sandwich on their beautiful back river patio. It's not the BEST or quickest sandwich in town, but we frequent it the most for it's outdoor river ambiance.

We love having an outdoor drink on their lawn. Walkable to hotel; this is directly off of the river path. Our favorite place for an outdoor drink if it's nice out.

Walkable to hotel; really nice outdoor patio area. A great option for Friday night dinner if you're looking for ease. Book a reservation. Decent food, exceptional atmosphere. Walk to Eclectic for our welcome party after!

Our favorite brewery. Walkable to hotel. Has gluten-free beer options and a grilled cheese shop (say less?).

For when you're prioritizing food over ambiance. A great breakfast & lunch quick stop. In a strip mall and always busy. Recommend doing a grab & go.

One block from the hotel and in our opinion, best walkable sit-down food! This is the location of the Welcome Party; large outdoor patio. Eclectic will be closed for dinner on Friday, July 19th for our rehearsal dinner.

Not your average steakhouse, and we mean that. Do not come here expecting luxury; it's a fun experience, affordable & tasty. This is a cook-your-own-steak place with a buffet salad bar; a local's favorite. The bathroom door is a curtain, to set your expectations. Right next to hotel. SCHMIT BOYS, I'm talking to you.

This restaurant is on the ground floor of Hotel Indigo and the location of the after party. Great drinks & decent food!

Right next door to the hotel; this is a food court & bar. This is the perfect solution for a quick bite or large groups. There's an arcade upstairs for those with kids.

Our favorite sit-down breakfast & lunch. Right on Frisco Main Street, stunning views. Do Jess a favor and make an AM trip to Frisco for breakfast & a hike on Peaks Trail.

The best upscale meal in the county. Need a reservation well in advance.

Excellent pizza, salads & drinks!

Ok hear us out; it's in a strip mall. But this large brewery is so fun, has a coffee shop and a chicken shop, and great views. We love it here!

Walkable from Outer Range (we do the beer -> dinner two-step all too often). In a strip mall but the food is fabulous and healthy. If you go here, just promise you will also SEE Frisco Main Street. Has a patio.

A casual comfort food brewery. The front patio has excellent views and is walkable to the Dillon Marina & Amphitheater. Five minute drive from hotel. We like it for its outdoor space & views, but service & food tends to be mediocre.

Stunning views of Dillon reservoir. Walkable to Pug Ryan's & reservoir. Good drinks, mediocre food & service. Inside hotel.

There are beautiful hikes all over Summit County, a few of our favorites are:

Rainbow Lake Trailhead --> Peaks Trail (Frisco); very approachable, we like to continue onto Peaks Trail which is nearly endless. #1 hike we take visitors.

Lily Pad Lake (Silverthorne); another approachable one at the top of our neighborhood. Parking is particularly limited here, so recommend doing this one early

Mesa Cortina --> Willow Creek Falls (Silverthorne); varying degrees of difficultly but starts very casual

South Willow Creek --> Willow Creek Falls (Silverthorne); a different starting point for what eventually turns into same hike as above

For when you don't feel like a true hike, the Blue River Pathway is a great option and just a few steps from the hotel. If you're having trouble finding it, just look for the "Silverthorne Pavilion" or "The Pad" on a map. The path follows the river.

We spend a ton of time here, either on the recreation path, nearby hikes, or at Pug Ryans. This is less than a 5-minute drive from the hotel. You can rent kayaks, stand up paddle boards, grab a drink at the shoreside tiki bar, or just enjoy the view from the beach. Please note, the water is too cold to swim in -- it's a law! There is also a playground if you're traveling with kiddos. If you are staying for our Sunday event, you can cross this off your list as we will be hosting at the Pavilion here.
