Over seven years ago while waitressing through nursing school there was this boy who would come in almost every wing night, Joseph (Joey). Joey would come in with the same group of guys every week, only one of which I knew from town but all of which quickly became my regulars. FORGET TGIF... during my week it was TGIW (Thank God it's Wednesday)! I looked forward to seeing him every Wednesday.

Those who know me know I am a "say it how it is" kind of woman. When it came to my feelings about Joey, it was no different. He was handsome, great personality, and did I mention HANDSOME. Other than his physical features, drink order and wing sauce preference I didn't know much else. Without hesitation I asked Joey out. He said NO! Again, if you are on this site reading this you know me well enough to know two things; one I am persistent, and two I don't accept no as an answer, EVER.

Joey proceeded to "put things into perspective for me"... it was in that moment I found out I was born the year Joey graduated high school. WHOA! Without delay I informed Joey he could still take me out on a date.. he wasn't getting off that easily.

Now here we are. Almost eight years later, one HANDSOME baby, lots of love, and memories with many more to come.
