When do I need to RSVP?

Please RSVP by March 31st, 2026. As this is a destination wedding, we do need RSVPs by the end of March so we can properly prepare. If you cannot attend, don't worry! We will celebrate with you no matter what!

Where can I find information about The Wedding Tree?

We recommend that every guest checks out the link below and watches the video on the website. Because The Wedding Tree is in the Bridger-Teton National Forest there are some rules that we have to follow. Thank you! https://www.btfriends.org/the-wedding-tree

When should I book my hotel/Airbnb/campsite?

Jackson is a tourist town and is very popular in the summer months so we recommend booking before the end of 2025 if possible! If you can book now, even better! Campsites will likely get booked up more quickly than hotels and Airbnbs.

What is the dress code?

Please dress comfortably for an outdoor ceremony. We'd love to see gals in long or midi length dresses, please no white. We'd love to see guys in button up tops and long pants, please no shorts. Jeans are okay as long as they are in good condition! Cowboy/cowgirl boots and hats strongly encouraged but not required!

What time should I arrive?

There is a short walk from your vehicle to the tree that you should account for. With this in mind, we recommend arriving at the parking lot at 3:30PM. The ceremony must begin promptly at 4pm as our photographer is only available for 2 hours.

When will I get my picture taken?

All family photos will be done immediately after the ceremony. Bridal party photos will follow.

Will there be seating at the ceremony?

Unfortunately, seating is not available at the wedding tree. If you are in need of a chair, please let us know! We will be sure to bring a few chairs for those who need them!

Where do I park?

Parking is limited at the wedding tree. Supposedly, the parking lot can only accommodate 6 vehicles. If you are able to, please carpool! There are alternative lots nearby that guests can park at but you will need another guest to shuttle you to the Wedding Tree.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please reach out to us if directly if you'd like to bring a plus one. The venue is very small but we may be able to make space!

Are kids welcome?

Yes! Please bring your kiddos! Be aware that the reception location is not super kid friendly so you may want to plan to bring distractions. If you plan to use a tablet or phone to keep your kiddos busy, please be sure to silence the volume on your device.

Where should I stay?

We recommend checking out Airbnbs and hotels in Victor Idaho for folks who don’t mind a bit of a drive (35 or so minutes from downtown Jackson) or campgrounds in the area. One campground that stood out to us is the Snake River Cabins and RV Village! The Cowboy Village and Resort is also a cute and somewhat cost effective hotel in town. (Airbnb is way more cost effective than hotels in this area)

What kind of food and drinks will be served?

Pizza, pasta, salad and appetizers!
