Yes, the wedding will take place on the part of the resort kids are allowed (Generations). However, El Dorado and Casitas are adults only, so they will not allowed to hang out there. We will make sure that we spend time at all resorts before and after the wedding day so we can celebrate and hang out will all of our guests!
CAN I USE AMERICAN MONEY IN MEXICO?
Yes! We recommend bringing small bills ($1's) to tip bartenders and servers if you are experiencing good service. Tipping is not mandatory. However, we have found if we tip, we tend to receive drinks and slightly faster service with smiles. Tipping at an all inclusive resort is not at all like tipping in America - no need to ensure you're giving 20%. Often tip a few dollars here and there. Make sure you call your bank before you leave and let them know you will be in Mexico in case you need to purchase anything with credit/debit cards.
IS MEXICO SAFE?
Yes, in the Mexican state of Quintana Roo, there is very little violent crime specifically directed at tourists. Local cities like Cancun, Playa del Carmen, and Riviera Maya rely heavily on tourism dollars to maintain their economy and it’s in everyone’s best economic interest to maintain the area’s reputation. All-inclusive resorts in Riviera Maya have security measures to maintain their guests safety throughout their stay, so you can enjoy your vacation worry free!
Can I bring a plus one?
We understand that this is not only our wedding but also for many this is there vacation. Please feel free to bring a date, or a friend to help us celebrate our big day! Rates are based on double occupancy, and go down the more people you have in a room.

Yes, we do have a gift registry. However, your presence at our wedding is the best gift we could ask for! Please do not feel obligated to send us a gift. We would much rather have our guests get ready to party in paradise! If you do want to get us a gift, please look at our registry page.
