Nope! The welcome party is basically the pregame to the wedding. Stop by anytime between 8-10pm and then hit up the Chicago bars after! We just want to see as many of our favorite people as possible before our big day. There will be a cash bar and food available to order. Not coming into town until Saturday? No worries, we'll be there too!

Ubers are very easy to come by in Chicago! Although the venue is only a few miles away from the hotels, we recommend leaving at least 20 minutes before the ceremony begins to account for traffic. There will also be valet onsite at Galleria Marchetti for $15/car.

Due to the ease of Ubers, Lyfts, and Taxis in Chicago, we have opted not to have transportation from the hotel to the venue. We recommend calling a ride at least 30-45 minutes before the ceremony begins to account for wait times and traffic. If you are traveling from the suburbs, please be prepared for traffic into the city as it will be construction season in Chicago!

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only event. Unless your child's name is included on your invitation, we appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time in order to spend the night with us on the dance floor!

The dress code for our wedding is cocktail attire. We recommend that men wear a suit and tie and women wear knee-length cocktail dresses. Please dress comfortably and in attire suitable for the occasion!

After the ceremony there will be a cocktail hour at Galleria Marchetti. There will be light passed hors d'oeuvres accompanied by an open bar. The rest of the evening will continue to take place at Galleria Marchetti, so no need to worry about transportation elsewhere!
