Jessyca and Joshua were both born on Vancouver Island and actually lived on the same block — just a few houses apart — but they barely knew each other back then. Who could’ve guessed that the kid down the street would one day turn out to be the one?

Life took them in different directions for awhile, but years later they reconnected as young adults and everything just clicked. They started their relationship in late 2007 - fast-forward 19 years (and countless laughs, memories, and doobies later), and here they are in 2026 — getting married!

Finally, they’re ready to make it official and say “I do” at last!

They’re thrilled to share this special day and celebrate with all the amazing humans who’ve been part of their story.

It is about F***ing time.

Josh and Jess spend the majority of their time doing all the things they love; enjoying time with their family and friends, their animals, camping, 4x4ing, snowboarding, house-boating, golfing, travelling, and exploring all that the island has to offer.

although many of them are no longer with us, they are thought of every day

At 21 years old (2005), Josh bought his first home in Whiskey Creek (Josh and Jess got together in late 2007).

Jessyca moved in with Josh in 2012 And they spent 4 years in this home growing together and making lifelong long friendships with their whiskey creek neighbours.

In 2016, Josh and Jess bought a house together in Whiskey Creek. Over the years they have done many upgrades and improvements to make this house thier very own oasis.

At a cabin on Mt Wahsinton, with friends, and celerating Jessyca's 30th birthday; Josh asked Jessyca to marry him.

Jessyca graduated from Vancouver Island University in 2020 with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work.
