[Justin’s POV]

I had absolutely no clue that Jhaid saw me in slow motion as she walked into Physics class for the first time. Being oblivious, I was running around high school not knowing that my future wife had shown up in our junior year. The universe knew it just wasn’t our time yet.

We grew closer in the Summer and Fall of 2014. Same friends, same college acceptance, same classes. Now, the time was right. We grew closer each and every day. Is this it? Am I falling for her? She asks ME to be her Valentine. The next day, I realize that I’ve really fallen for her and confess. June 15th comes, and I thought that we needed to make this official so I finally asked her to be my girlfriend.

Some don’t say “I love you” so early in a relationship. It could scare them away or ruin the relationship. Well I folded like an omelette in 5 months and told her I love her. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. And she loved me back.

For 10 more years, we’ve spent our lives together in such a developmental period. We were discovering who we are, what we wanted to do, where we wanted to be. I just wanted to be happy, and she is the center of that goal. With every vacation, dinner, movie, walk with Goose, and waking day with her, my happiness grows. Making her happy makes me happier, so why not do this forever?

May 25, 2023. I ask her if we could do this forever, and now we await to celebrate with you on our wedding day on June 30, 2025.
