Rick’s Café Boatyard: (~5 mins) A must-visit! It sits right on the water at Eagle Creek Reservoir. It’s the best spot in the area for a sunset dinner or pre-wedding drinks on the massive deck.

Eagle Creek Park: (~5 mins) One of the largest municipal parks in the US. Guests can go hiking, visit the Ornithology Center, or even try the Go Ape Zipline & Adventure Park.
The Monon Trail: (~10 mins) A beautiful "pedestrian highway" that connects Carmel to Indianapolis. It’s perfect for a morning walk, run, or bike ride.
Midtown Plaza (Carmel): (~10 mins) An outdoor community space with a massive TV screen, ping-pong tables, and outdoor seating—surrounded by Sun King Distillery and local food stalls.
Points of Interest:
Indianapolis Motor Speedway: (~15 mins) Even if it’s not race day, the Museum is a must for sports fans. It’s a National Historic Landmark and the "Racing Capital of the World."
Newfields (Indy Museum of Art): (~20 mins) A stunning art museum surrounded by 152 acres of gardens and an outdoor "Funky Bones" sculpture park, the one mentioned in the book "The Fault in Our Stars!". Also be sure to check out an amazing immersive art experience at The Lume while there!
The Garage Food Hall at Bottleworks: (~25 mins) If you head downtown, this restored Coca-Cola plant is now a high-end food hall with everything from oysters to Brazilian street food.
