From our very first date we couldn’t stop laughing, and we’ve been each other’s best friend ever since. Six years later, our inside jokes are too many to count, and we still have just as much fun together as day one. In 2020 Jill started working at Scott's practice as a temporary gig to help out during that crazy time... Jill's mom said "You're either going to find out you're not a good match very quickly or you're going to get married". She was right! We worked together so well that Jill never left. After five years of working side by side and somehow never getting tired of each other, we decided it was about time to make it official. 💍❤️

I’m Jake Canfield, the bride’s brother and the groom's absolute BEST man. I first met Scott in 2019 when he and my sister started dating, which was shortly after I convinced her to give him a chance despite one truly awful pickup line. Since then, he’s gone from “the guy dating my sister,” to a great friend. We have bonded over the highs and lows of running our own small businesses and our annual tradition of enjoying the German Christmas Market. I am stoked to share in Scott and Jill's wedding and to witness them become one!

From first meeting at the hostess-stand to [still] pulling all-nighters as adults, (and skydiving in-between), Jill & Shayla were meant to be lifelong Best Friends! 

For 15 years, Jill has used her incredible superpower to help me feel heard, loved, & supported; And now it’s time for me to return the favor! I'm beyond excited to stand by Jill’s side as her Matron of Honor and cannot wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple!!

Michael met Scott in Bloomington back in 2009 through the IU Swim Club and at Wright Quad Food Court.

Together, they’ve survived the emotional rollercoaster that is IU Football—bonding through the lowest of lows and these shockingly magical last two years.

Michael remains genuinely baffled that Jill has voluntarily committed to a lifetime of Scott’s puns, but he couldn’t be happier for the brave, pun and Wawa loving couple. He currently lives in Carmel with his wife and son.

Who says you can't find friendship at work? Tina and Jill met over 10 years ago as coworkers and quickly turned into partners in crime. We have enjoyed  trips, crafting dates, volunteering, and the love of food, and empowering women together. Tina is so excited to celebrate this new chapter with Jill and Scott.

Scott Minton is the incredible man who's about to become my Brother in Law, and honestly, we're all thrilled he's finally getting "adjusted" into the family!


By day, Scott is a skilled chiropractor, where he spends his time cracking backs and Dad Jokes. 



His great sense of humor made him easy to like and accept as one of our own, because let's be honest; you have to have a great sense of humor to be around any of us for too long. 



Scott is also a dedicated trail runner who has a legendary Snapchat streak going of his always unsuspecting trail companion named Paul. 



And let's not forget his other Snapchat specialty: the highly scientific rating system for free food samples at Sam's Club. From grocery store cheese cubes to mall pretzel bites, Scott fearlessly samples and rates them all—because apparently, nothing says "commitment" like the dedication he has to keep us all informed of the best and worst free food samples in the state. 



We're so excited to welcome Scott to the family. He's got the spine, the humor, the heart, and now the forever partner he deserves. Congratulations to Scott and Jillian!

Scott and I met at Indiana University through the IU Swim Club, bonding over random interpretive dancing at bars, racing Long Islands, and loudly cheering on our Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosiers. We’ve shared some unforgettable memories, and I’m so grateful for our friendship. I couldn’t be happier to stand by Scott’s side as he marries Jill.

Jill and I met at work 12 years ago, never knowing that our friendship would become such an important part of my life. Through every season, she has been someone I can count on. As a mom of four teenagers and a small business owner, I’m endlessly grateful for friendships like hers, and I couldn’t be more proud to celebrate this moment with her.

I work as a plant manager, where I enjoy building strong teams and keeping things running smoothly (most of the time). Outside of work, I help lead singing at church, which combines my love of music with my faith. I’m also an avid comic collector and a fan of fun cars—anything with manual transmission and a little extra horsepower tends to get my attention. 

I first met Scott shortly after he and my little sister Jill started dating. At first, he seemed quiet and reserved, but it didn’t take long to discover that underneath that calm exterior is someone who shares our family’s wonderfully weird sense of humor.

Over the years, I’ve been grateful to gain not just a future brother-in-law, but a true friend. My long-term goal remains to get Scott to sing karaoke...and I’m confident that one day, I will succeed.

Married 19 years, boy mom of three, grandma to two grandsons, and Michigan to the core. 💙 Faithful to her Mitten roots and her beloved Detroit Red Wings.



She’s happily introverted and prefers cheering from the sidelines, while Jill brings the sparkle wherever she goes. They met at work, instantly clicked, and have been laughing, shopping, and planning their next meal ever since. Patti wouldn’t want the spotlight, but she wouldn’t miss standing beside her girl for anything.

I’m currently a high school student who enjoys diving into action and adventure books whenever I get the chance. I also spend plenty of time playing video games—especially Minecraft—the main subject for a Youtube channel I run.

Recently, I’ve started singing at church and have been learning more about music, which has been both challenging and rewarding. When I’m not reading, gaming, or practicing music, you can usually find me playing ultimate frisbee whenever there’s an opportunity.

While I’m still a bit undecided about what I want to pursue after high school, I have a strong interest in astronomy and am fascinated by space and how the universe works. I’m excited to see where my interests and opportunities lead in the years ahead.

Joshua Canfield

I am currently in 11th grade. I spend my free time listening to music and dancing whenever I get the chance. I previously trained and competed in gymnastics for several years, where I developed strength and grace. Now, I'm excited to take that passion to new heights and hope to join an aerial dance group in the near future. While I'm still figuring out exactly where life will take me after high school, I'm embracing the journey and taking it one day at a time.

Kalyn Canfield

James is 14 and in 7th grade and enjoys playing games like Minecraft, reading, and drawing. He has a heart for ministry and plans to attend Hyles-Anderson College in the future.

Jaycee is 16 and a sophomore in high school who enjoys cooking, learning the piano, and saving up for her first car or truck. She plans to attend Hyles-Anderson College after graduation.
