On a Saturday night in San Antonio, Alex and Jillian hit it off at a Young Adult Bowling and Mini Golf outing with their church. Of Note: Alex’s two worst sporting events are Bowling and Golf (Mini Golf is just a more evident and mocking version of Golf to those who suck at it). Alex lost terribly. The highlight of the experience was that Alex and Jillian found out that their favorite TV Show was Jeopardy, and Alex secured a rematch tennis date two days later (in which he redeemed himself 12 games to 0, but who’s counting).
From there, Alex and Jillian spent as much time together as the government would allow, and they have since made it through 20 TDYs, 1 PCS, 2 Deployments, and over 6,300 miles of long-distance. Through the struggle of distance, Alex and Jillian have learned a great deal about how to connect while being apart, and having Alex shave his mustache when they’re together. We are incredibly excited to spend our life together and at least being able to set up a home base together where we can reconnect after all the military has in store for us.
We’re looking forward to y’all coming to share in our joy for our Wedding!
