The story starts off just like most love stories do. Alex and Jillian worked together at Fidelity Investments, but never really had a chance to get to know each other. However as most things tend to do when two people are meant for each other, there always seems to be a bigger plan. As a new hire at the company, Alex was working through the day to day activities of his job. Little did he know that on that very day, he would meet his soulmate!

Jillian was asked by his manager to be a peer guide for the new hire team that day. As a peer guide she walked around and answered any questions for his new hire class. Jillian walked in wearing a cute pink blazer, and as soon as Alex saw her, he knew that he just had to talk to her. He worked up an entire conversation in his head, but when she walked up and asked if he had any questions, he couldn't find the words. In fact, it took three other chance meetings for him to work up the nerve to say much more than "Hello." Alex was quite the charmer!

Fortunately, by then they both had separately told their friends about each other. Jillian thought Alex was handsome and liked how tall he was. Alex couldn't get enough of Jillian's infectious smile, and spent most of the workday thinking about that pink blazer and when he could see her again. God had a plan, a great sense of humor, and knew that Jillian and Alex's friends weren't very good at keeping secrets. A few slipped messages, funny "coincidences", and awkward moments later, Alex had the confirmation he needed and walked right up to Jillian and asked for her number. From love at first sight, to the first date, to next year's wedding, the rest is history! :)
