I met Michael freshman year at Ouachita Baptist University, where we were lucky enough to be randomly assigned suitemates. Though I'm sure he thought I was strange at first, we eventually pledged the same fraternity. Over the course of the next 4 years, Michael was my closest friend and confidant from making business plans to planning club events. When life throws challenges my way, I know that Michael always has my back. As soon as he met Jillian, he knew that she was the perfect bride for me and I wouldn't want anyone else by my side on July 15th!

Mallory is my sister and the person I look up to most in the world. I consider myself as the luckiest to have her as my sis! I was maid of honor at her wedding and now she gets to be the matron of honor at mine. I am so glad that I get to share this special day with her by my side!

Mack and I met sophomore year through a group of mutual friends. I'm glad that we had the chance to become friends even though he went to school at Henderson State University across the street! My favorite memories of Mack surround the many vacations that we took with the bros, where Mack was always the life of the party. He's always good for a laugh, and has always been there when I needed him. So I'm glad to have him as a part of the #NearlyNelson Team!

Abbey is my cousin and my partner in crime growing up. Abbey and I are 3 months apart in age so we have basically grown up together. We were lucky enough to go to the same junior high, highschool and OU together! There have really only been 2.5 years of our life that we have not been in the same city. I'm so grateful everyday for this pretty girl!

From changing the world and wearing bandannas every day, to working towards a PhD, Hunter has always been my sounding board. Though we met earlier, we became close friends when we pledged Eta together. Shortly after we graduated I had the opportunity to stand next to Hunter on his wedding day, and I am honored for Hunter to return the favor on July 15th. Hunter has been a great example, and I look forward to his continued advice and friendship as I enter married life!

Sweet Emily! Even though we went to the same university, she and I have gotten to know each other really well these last couple of years.She has become one of my best friends. She has an orange cat named Cleo and I could not imagine life in Dallas without them. She is thoughtful, loyal and hilarious!! She has been a constant rock of mine and she is one of my favorite people on this planet.

I met Trey during my freshman year of college at Ouachita. He was Michael's roommate, and my suite mate. He and I also pledged together and his unique sense of humor allowed us to stay close through college. Trey is always practical, and always helped us think through problems. Though he's moved on to solving bigger problems, and is now is a Medical student with no time on his hands, I'm grateful that he is going to be a groomsmen by my side in July!

I cannot even tell you the exact moment that Tori and I became friends. We met at OU and were in the same sorority together but she and I just kind of clicked. This girl is the life of the party and has the BEST storytelling persona. We both share a love of Dr Pepper :) I feel like I have known her my entire life.

I also met Lindsey at OU where we were both Chi Omega sorority sisters! We spent countless hours together talking about boys, studying for our business classes and watching the greatest movies like Legally Blonde, He's Just Not That Into You and Sex and the City! This girl is so pretty and so smart, I am beyond blessed to have her in my life and standing by my side on my wedding day!

Ben was one of the first people I met when working at Fidelity, and we became friends pretty quickly. He really helped me adjust to life outside of Ouachita, and was definitely the one who kept me up to date on all the current trends. We also shared an interest in starting businesses, and we've been throwing ideas back and forth for years. Though he's been in Colorado recently, I'm pumped to have him back in Dallas for my wedding!

Anna is my soon to be sister in law and I couldn't have chosen a better sister in law than her. She is one of the sweetest most welcoming girls I've ever known. I am so excited to know that she and I will get to be sisters and friends for the rest of our lives!

Chris is my younger sister's boyfriend, though I really consider him to be like a little brother. He and Anna have been dating longer than Jillian and I (but only a little,) and when not working hard, he can be found either drumming on whatever is close by or helping my dad and I grill a nice steak. It means a lot to me that he will be a groomsmen at my wedding, and I consider myself lucky that he's a part of the family.
