The Cathedral has parking behind the building off of Trowbridge Street (the blue arrow and box in the picture below).
Where do we enter the church?
There are 2 main entrances to the church denoted by the the yellow and red arrows on the picture above.
Reception
Where should we park for the cocktail hour/reception?
Enter The Henry Ford Museum campus from Oakwood Boulevard. Security will be at the gate with blue flags. Follow drive (behind museum) to Lovett Hall parking.
Will dinner accommodate dietary restrictions?
Yes! All guests have the option to choose between chicken, salmon, or a vegetarian meal. For any other dietary restrictions just contact the Nolans or Weisses and Lovett Hall will be sure to accommodate.
What about the alcohol?
The reception has an open bar that will close for one hour at the conclusion of the cocktail hour to allow the bar to move upstairs for the remainder of the reception. Keep in mind that the reception venue will ID anyone asking for an alcoholic drink.
One more thing! All drinks at the wedding are from Michigan companies like Faygo and Traverse City Whiskey Company.
Dress code
What is the dress code?
The dress code is black-tie optional. However, please keep in mind that the Cathedral expects guests to show discretion and modesty appropriate to this holy sacrament and sacred space. Below are some examples we think would be great!
What will the bridal party be wearing?
Thomas and the groomsmen will wear navy suits; the bridesmaids will wear sage-colored dresses. Rumor has it Jillian will wear a white dress, but don't tell Thomas!

Will the Cathedral and reception be ADA-accessible?
Yes! There are ramps from the parking lot at the Cathedral into the sanctuary. Lovett Hall has an elevator on the main floor by the cocktail hour to the second floor where the reception will be held.
What happens if it rains?
Nothing changes! Everything will be inside so rain won't be an issue.
Is there a wedding registry?
Yes! The registry with Crate & Barrel and Amazon is accessible through this website. Crate & Barrel offers free shipping for all items on the registry.
How far apart are the ceremony and the reception?
The ceremony and the reception are about twenty minutes apart, so guests will have a little down time between the end of the ceremony and the cocktail hour.
