Peter is Thomas's older brother. They shared a room basically until Thomas graduated from law school, so you could say they know each other pretty well. Thomas also has a habit of copying Peter: they both went to the University of Michigan, then law school, and then married (or are about to marry) health care professionals.

Jillian's favorite (and only) sister, they both enjoyed playing soccer growing up. The only person allowed to call Jillian "Jill," Madison appreciates being able to call Jillian with endless medical questions. Jillian benefits by receiving complimentary tickets to sporting events Madison works at.

Friends from law school, Alex credits Thomas with setting him up with his wife, Anne. Thomas and Alex had "Al and Tommy time" where they tried a new restaurant in South Bend. Members of the same law-school bowling team, they are both still scarred from losing the championship their 3L year.

Jillian's friend from undergrad, their friendship grew as they spent every free weekend working Wayne State athletic events together. Both share a love a pizza, although Chelsea holds the upper hand as she once ate pizza 20 days in a row!

The older of Thomas's two younger brothers, David enjoys rock climbing and volunteers to tutor high school students in his spare time. Like Thomas, David enjoys being on the water and takes every opportunity he can to "patrol" the lake on a jet ski.

Another friendship that was fostered in the halls of Matthaei at Wayne State. They bonded most frequently during their times in the concession stand. Andrea takes partial credit for the start of Jillian and Thomas's relationship as she helped Jillian prep for their first date!

Thomas's youngest brother, Joe is the consensus funniest Nolan child. The recipient of innumerable nicknames as a child, Joe now has one for Thomas: "little brother" (because he is taller than Thomas).

Adding some international flair to the wedding party, Kristen is also a fellow "Matthaei survivor." Despite being a Canadiens fan, Kristen was the only person Jillian could trust to hand over the keys to the Matthaei facility office.

Alex married Thomas's sister Molly in 2022 and has been a wonderful addition to the Nolan family. An avid Michigan athletics fan, he and Thomas frequently discuss Michigan football at family gatherings. Alex has also recently taken up golf, something Thomas aims to do as well.

Molly is Thomas's sister. She has welcomed Jillian into the Nolan family over monthly dinners. They both enjoy teasing Thomas at Nolan family gatherings; a welcome change for Molly after years without much help in that department.

Thomas's best friend since first grade and roommate through undergrad. Kevin is the only person Thomas texts more than Jillian, especially during college football season. Jillian, on the other hand, is the only Ohio State fan Kevin has ever willingly allowed in his house, which has been a good-luck charm the past two years.

Peter's wife and a nurse in the University of Michigan hospital system. Katie and Jillian have bonded over their shared experiences as health care professionals and the craziness of joining the Nolan family "circus."

Kevin's son, Henry is using this wedding as practice for the following week when he will be the ring bearer in his uncle's wedding. In his free time, Henry enjoys making coffee in his toy kitchen, making Kevin proud by playing with cars, and "calling" Thomas on his toy phone.

The daughter of Peter and Katie (and Thomas's goddaughter), Ruthie was the first Nolan grandchild. Her hobbies include coloring, swinging on the playground, and playing with her baby sister Annie.
