When should I RSVP?

Please submit your RSVP online by Thursday, November 7th. The RSVP will be closed after that date. The deadline is set by our venue, and we will not be able to accommodate any late RSVPs. Thank you for understanding,

What is the dress code?

The dress code is formal, black-tie optional. Now is an excuse to get fancy! Bring out your best full-length gowns. Cocktail dresses are also welcome and appropriate. A tuxedo is not required, but the event is formal enough for one to be appropriate. A formal suit and tie are also welcome.

Is there parking?

For the ceremony, there is a parking lot at Saint Philomena Church. For the reception, parking is available in the garage at The Wanamaker Building. Please keep in mind that this is not complimentary/public parking and you may have to pay to park in the garage. The entrance to the Wanamaker garage is off of Juniper Street, between Penn Square and Chestnut Street. Bear right onto Juniper Street from Penn Square and the garage will be on your left. There is another entrance to the garage on 13th Street northbound, between Chestnut and Market Streets. The garage will be on your left. From the garage, take the elevators to the Mezzanine to access street level, and from the Mezzanine to the Crystal Tea Room on the 9th Floor for the reception. There are additional public parking garages around Center City Philadelphia that you may choose to park in. There is also parking available at the Loews Hotel if you choose to stay there. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk to the Wanamaker Building.

What are my options for transportation?

The Crystal Tea Room is about 25 minutes from Saint Philomena Church. We will not be providing guest transportation from the church to the reception. There is plenty of parking at both locations if you choose to drive. PLEASE see the page on our site containing important information regarding the annual Philadelphia Holiday Parade, as this may affect guests who choose to drive. We also recommend utilizing Uber or Lyft. If are you comfortable taking public transportation, there is a SEPTA Regional Rail line stop near the church (Lansdowne), and you can take the train to Suburban Station (Philadelphia City Hall). Additionally, there will not be guest transportation from the Crystal Tea Room to the Loews Hotel after the reception, as the hotel is located around the corner from the Wanamaker Building (only about a 5 minute walk right down Market Street!).

Are children invited?

All are welcome to join us for our church ceremony. However, our reception is an adult-only event.

Can I bring someone?

We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If a guest option has been given to you, your invitation will be addressed as,"[YOUR NAME] and Guest". You will be able to write in your guest's name when you RSVP. If there is not a guest option on your invitation, then you may not bring someone. Thank you for understanding.

When should I arrive for the ceremony?

We recommend that you arrive 15 to 30 minutes before our 2:00 PM ceremony time. This gives us enough time to be on schedule and help out our guests that may need extra assistance finding their seat.

What can I do during the time between the ceremony and reception?

We are having a Catholic service, so our ceremony will last about one hour. The time between the end of the ceremony and the start of cocktail hour is purposefully blocked so the bridal party can take pictures. We recommend our guests look under the "Things to do" tab on our website to find ideas of activities to do during this time. We also recommend using this time to check in to the Loews Hotel if you are staying there after the wedding.

Will there be vegetarian/vegan dinner options?

When you RSVP, there will be a place for you to indicate if you or your guest have any dietary restrictions (nuts, shellfish, vegetarian, etc.). For dinner, we are offering a duet platter of braised short rib and crab cake with potatoes and vegetables. This is a gluten-free meal.
