Neighborhood staple that Tina Fey wrote about in her autobiography. Great for brunch. Has a nice patio where you can see all the crazy Rogers Park denizens pass you by. Good beer on tap, great vegetarian options, and an organic food store attached if you need it.

Our favorite cocktail bar becomes an amazing breakfast spot Thursday thru Sunday in the daytime. They make the best egg biscuit sandwiches you will ever eat - guaranteed - along with tasty coffee and cold brew.

This new restaurant and brewery is located in the same building as our venue! It's a microbrewery that features all Chicago-exclusive beers. Food is elevated pub grub, but is quite tasty. Service can be slow, but is very friendly.
At Mayne Stage!

Featured on the Food Network show "Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives". This place serves artery-clogging, Korean-inspired burgers and fries. They do not serve booze. Great food, especially if you like burgers. Right next door to the hotel!

College bar with great specials, typical pub grub, large beer list. Right next to the hotel. Sometimes can have a long wait. Nice patio!

Yummy sangria and small plates. Very friendly service.

One of the original deep dish pizza chains. Not as good as Pequod's, but if you want to try deep dish and don't feel like going downtown, you can't go wrong here.
6836 N. Sheridan Rd. Chicago , IL 60626
Really large, drafty sports bar. Cheap pub grub and drinks.
1406 W Morse Ave, Chicago, IL 60626
Family-owned Olive Garden-type chain. Not the best, but if you are a simple eater, this could be for you.
6935 N Sheridan Rd Chicago, IL 60626
The CTA has two stops in the neighborhood. The Loyola stop is right next to the hotel. The Morse stop is right next to Mayne Stage, the venue.
The train will get you downtown in about 40-60 minutes depending on how they are running. Costs $2.25 each way.
We recommend downloading these apps before you visit. You can hail a car from your phone at affordable rates.
If you're feeling adventurous, hop the express bus, the 147. You can pick it up right outside the Loyola Red Line station. It speeds down Lake Shore Drive, and drops you off right at the top of Michigan Avenue. Very convenient for shopping and sightseeing.
