Ceremony, champagne and shenanigans. Not even in that order! The waterfront ceremony site is a short walk to the hotel and will be on the grass veranda. The seating will be in shade, so don't sweat it. In the event of inclement weather ( in New England??), it will be moved to the hotel venue and much closer to the bar. Easy peasy. We will then have a drinks, reception and dinner at the 1620, with more fun than if you were twins. We are going to have a DJ/Karaoke combo so the party will be fun for all- more so if you have talent like Fran and Jim. We will let the DJ handle the Karaoke requests, but we will refrain from SLOW SONGS when the dance floor gets hopping. After all, it's a party, remember. But if you can rock the house, have at it!

We wanted a venue that could be fun for a visit if our guests wanted to do more than a wedding thingy. Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower is right here ! Moreover, Fran wanted Jim's mother (Nona) to be able to be there. Lately she doesn't travel much, and all of Jim's family and oldest and best friends are close by, so this made sense.

That’s just a technicality. ❤️ This is more about sharing the celebration with people we love. It’s about making the time to be with you and creating memories we all can look back on and smile! Well… if goes according to plan you will look back and actually laugh your ass off.

Yes - we will have a few family members participate in the oceanside renewal of our vows!
