This is the very first photo we took together. We went out for beer and wings with a few friends, and it ended up in a night of bar hopping. At the time, we had known each other for about 5 or so years; however, both in very different places of life. Jayla moved back to Indiana with Anheuser-Busch and Jimmy had moved from Baltimore back to Louisville while consulting. When Jayla was in the middle of painting her new home, the two of them were texting regarding the new home and all of life's updates. Thats when they realized that Jimmy was in Shelbyville remodeling his mother's home and was only 45 minutes away. Jimmy jumped in the car to go see Jayla's new home, and they stayed together ever since.

Yes, you read that right. On Valentines Day of 2017. Around this time, we officially moved in together, with Jimmy moving to Indiana. Pictured, would be Jimmys staring at the busted rear end of his car that Jayla smashed with her Jeep. Nothing screams "in love" than the sound of a crushed bumper.

Moving Time! Around this time, Jimmy started doing construction safety consulting and was driving back and forth from Anderson to Evansville. We decided it would be best for us to just move to Evansville. Photo is us, once again, bar hoping, on Christmas Eve right after we had moved to the area.

"Wanna move again?" If you haven't caught on by now, we like to move. After a few years of discussion, we knew the next move we wanted to make would be to Cincinnati. Jimmys family is in the Northern Kentucky area and we wanted to be close to experience life with the family, see nieces and nephews regularly, and be able to make memories with them while young. Jayla was offered a job in Cincinnati, so it was the perfect chance to pack up the dogs and head to our next adventure.

Just what the doctor ordered.

Oh, we are moving again?! St. Louis, MO, here we come! Jimmy was offered a position to open The Armory in midtown of St. Louis and Jayla was promoted at work. Even though leaving family was difficult, we knew this would be a huge chapter of our life together.

Engaged! About. Damn. Time. After 7 years, he finally popped the question at a beautiful, lakeside cabin in Innsbrook, MO with just the two of them, exactly the way she wanted it.

We bought our first home together. Listen, we know what you're thinking. "8 years and just now buying a house together?" If you didn't catch on, we move, A LOT! We found the perfect house for us and are excited to finally have roots down in an area called High Ridge, about 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis.
