We've received questions regarding what our last name will be, and many know, for us, this hasn't been an easy decision. We have chosen to adopt the last name of Jimmy's biological paternal family, Monroe. While we know that children won’t be part of our future, we wanted to create a new chapter for ourselves. This name symbolizes our decision to leave behind the past and build a fresh foundation together, as we embark on the journey ahead.

To put it simply, it never felt right. Neither one of us loves to be in the spotlight and while, one may be more extrovert than the other (I think we can all agree who is the more outgoing in this relationship), we have always said we would rather have a party filled with drinks, music, and our favorite people. Traditional just isn't our style.

Nope. Again, we aren't traditional. Both have siblings whom we would absolutely want by our side; however, at the end of the day, it's about the two of us. Those who would be chosen are headed to the lake with us on that special day already, the last thing we want to do is ask them to purchase all the things that come along with being in those positions.
