Q: Do I need to book my hotel accommodations through your wedding agency?

A: Yes, it is very important that all guests book through our wedding travel partner, HotelMaven, within our reserved room block. This is how guests are officially counted as part of our wedding group, which directly impacts the events and costs we are covering. Guests who do not book through our room block will be subject to an additional fee to attend the wedding. We have done extensive research to find the most comfortable and cost-effective resort for all of our guests.

Q: Is there a deposit required to book my room?

A: Yes, a $100 deposit per room is required at the time of booking. Because there are other weddings taking place at the resort the same weekend as ours, we strongly encourage guests to secure their rooms and submit their deposits as soon as possible.

Q: When is the final payment due?

A: Full payment for all rooms must be made by March 14, 2027. We have intentionally given over a year’s notice to allow guests the flexibility to either pay in full or make payments over time.

Q: Can I make payments over time for my room?

A: Yes! Guests may choose to pay in full or set up a payment plan leading up to the final payment deadline.

Q: What if I find a cheaper rate online or the hotel is running a sale?

A: HotelMaven will price-match any publicly available hotel rate. Please note this does not apply to discounts secured through a personal travel agent.

Q: Are flights included in the room rate?

A: No, flights are booked separately and are not included in the room rate.

Q: What airport should I fly into?

A: Guests should fly into Cancún International Airport (CUN).

Q: Is airport transportation included?

A: Yes, round-trip airport transportation is included for up to two guests per room. Transportation will be arranged by HotelMaven, and they will contact you directly to collect your flight information closer to travel.

Q: What documents do I need to travel to Cancún?

A: A valid passport is required for international travel to Mexico. We recommend ensuring your passport is valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates.

Q: How long will you be at the resort?

A: We will be staying at the resort from May 19–24, and we hope many of you can join us for an extended stay.

Q: Can I bring my child(ren)?

A: Yes! One of the reasons we chose this resort is because it offers both an adults-only section and a family-friendly side. We truly hope you treat this wedding as a vacation and enjoy it with your family. Best part? Kids 13 years and under are free!

Q: Is there a dress code?

A: We want everyone to feel comfortable, confident, and wedding-ready. The dress code is resort formal or cocktail attire. Please note that additional details, including any color guidance, will be shared as the wedding date approaches. The ceremony will take place outdoors in a tropical climate (non-sand setting).

Q: Is there a minimum night stay?

A: Yes, there is a 3-night minimum stay for all guests.
