How to get to Acadia
By Car:
If driving from Boston, Massachusetts it typically takes about 4 and half hours. Portland is a great halfway point to stop for a snack, gas or bathroom.
By Plane:
- The Hancock County- Bar Harbor Airport (BHB) is about 25 minutes away from the hotel.
- Bangor International Airport (BGR) is about an hour away.
- The next closest airport is Portland International Jetport (PWM – about 3 hours away).
Once at the airport you can choose to either rent a car or take Uber/taxi to the hotel.
Transportation
Transportation will be provided for the wedding day. A bus will pick up guests at the hotel on the wedding day and will escort you to the reception after the ceremony and back to the hotel for the evening.
For other activities, we can plan to carpool.
Bad Harbor is a very walkable town and offers many things to do within minutes of the hotel.
