It all began on a chilly fall evening—October 7th, 2022. Jodi was out enjoying an Edmonton Oilers game with her brother, sister-in-law, and a group of close friends. After a victorious Oilers win, the night carried them to Cook County Saloon in Edmonton. Little did she know, fate was waiting on that dance floor. Enter Cass—Jodi’s bold and hilarious wingman—who spotted Eric across the room and took matters into his own hands. Marching up, he asked three questions: “Do you golf?”, “What hockey team do you cheer for?”, and most importantly, “Are you single?” Eric, slightly amused and a little confused, thought, “I don’t bat for that team…”—but Cass wasn’t asking for himself. He had someone special in mind. And just like that, Eric met Jodi. As the night went on, Jodi’s friends slowly trickled away—after, of course, getting the all-clear from Jodi herself with her signature “I’m fine.” Left with Eric and his friend Mark, Jodi danced the night away, and by the end, she and Eric had exchanged numbers. What followed was a flurry of messages, a first date, a second date… and the start of something truly unforgettable. In 2023, Jodi made a big move—leaving her hometown of Edson to start fresh in Leduc. She bought a duplex and moved in with her girls. Although Eric had a home of his own, their connection was undeniable, and they quickly became inseparable. Soon, Eric was spending more time at the duplex than his own place. After a year of managing two homes, they made the decision to fully merge their lives—selling the duplex and settling into their forever home together. Then, on March 29th, 2025, Eric asked the most important question of all—and Jodi said yes. Since that night at Cook County, their love has only grown stronger. What started as a few bold questions turned into a lifetime of laughter, adventure, and unwavering connection. They can’t wait to start this next chapter, hand in hand.

From day one there was really only one correct choice for a best man and that is Darren. A man full of compassion and integrity that although being my younger brother always has had so many guiding advice moments in my life I could have easily called him "big brother".

He has been there for me through anything and everything and I couldn't imagine anyone better than him to stand by my side moving into the most exciting and amazing next chapter in my life.

Chablis and I first met 11 years ago in prenatal class while we were both expecting our oldest children. Neither of us knew it then, but that day would be the start of a lifelong friendship.

Over the years, we’ve spent countless hours together—whether we were bundled up at the arena for our kids’ hockey, navigating hotel rooms filled with excited little players during tournaments, or simply hanging out at each other’s houses. Some of my favorite memories were made in those everyday moments with her by my side.

Even now, with 2.5 hours between us, nothing has changed. We still spend at least an hour on the phone almost every single day. It’s almost like we live vicariously through our phones, sharing the little things, the big things, and everything in between.

Chablis is one of the kindest, most caring, and most compassionate people I know. She has seen me through the good, the bad, and the ugly, and our unwavering friendship is something I wouldn’t trade for the world. I’m so grateful to have her standing with me on this special day—just as she has stood with me through so many others.

Kori is so much more than my sister-in-law—she is truly one of my closest friends and one of the greatest gifts in my life. When I met Kori ten years ago, it instantly clicked that we would be good friends, and not long after, she became family when she married my brother. From day one, Kori has been by my side through every high and my very lowest of lows, always showing up with unwavering love, encouragement, and a heart full of compassion.

Kori is the kind of person who always puts everyone else before herself. She is the most kind, caring, and loving soul, and anyone who knows her is better because of it. We have shared so many unforgettable memories together—concerts, hockey games, family nights, and a ton of vacations filled with laughter and love. She brings light, warmth, and joy into every room she enters.

Beyond being an incredible friend, Kori is an amazing mother to my niece and nephew, leading with patience, selflessness, and so much love. She is someone I admire deeply and am endlessly grateful for. Having Kori stand beside me on my wedding day means the world to me, just as she has stood beside me through so many meaningful moments in my life.

With this option, you can secure your spot with a $250/person deposit, and the remainder will be due by December 15th, 2025. Estimated cost (including flights, hotel, and airport transfers) is $2275 per adult – subject to change based on availability.   Option 2: Book a Package on Your Own You can book a 7- or 14-day package directly through <a href="https:" target="_blank">Sunwing.com</a>.
