Alright, buckle up for a wild ride through the wacky world of online dating!

Joel and Mikayla found each other in a sea of awkward profiles and cheesy pickup lines. Their love story began with a simple swipe right, followed by a nerve-wracking exchange of messages that somehow evolved into late-night phone calls filled with laughter and shared dreams. Before they knew it, they were chatting away on the phone like long-lost pals.

On their first phone call Joel mustered up the nerve to pop the big question: "Mikayla, would you want to go on a date?"

Mikayla, with a mix of excitement and apprehension, agreed, thinking, "What's the worst that could happen?"

Their first date was a whirlwind of excitement and unexpected adventures. They decided to kick things off with a visit to the Ripley’s aquarium. They marvelled at the fish, and bonded over their shared love for ridiculous fish puns and competition.

There date was supposed to end there, but, after spending time with each other they decided to extend it and explore Toronto.

They made their way to the arcade where Joel and Mikayla unleashed their inner child. They battled it out on vintage arcade games, cheering each other on and playfully trash-talking between rounds.

They later found an ice cream truck and fuelled up before taking a long walk to their next adventure. They watched outdoor ping pong, walked along the harbour, saw where they filmed Kim's Convenience, talked and shared stories, until Joel realized he was HUNGRY.

Their hunger pangs led them to a Korean BBQ restaurant where they feasted on sizzling meats. Armed with tongs and a hearty appetite, they grilled their way through mountains of meat, inadvertently bonding over their shared inability to use chopsticks gracefully.

Refusing to let the night end, they stumbled upon an outdoor concert where the performers belted out ABBA's greatest hits, including the timeless anthem "Mamma Mia." Joel and Mikayla found themselves singing along at the top of their lungs, not caring who heard their off-key renditions.

And then, in a moment straight out of a cheesy rom-com, as the music faded into the night, Joel leaned in, and Mikayla felt her heart skip a beat as Joel said “We should probably call it a night…”

I know, not what you were expecting right!

Joel, the gentleman that he is drove Mikayla to her car, and thats when they shared their first kiss. Amidst the flashing lights of arcade games, the savory aroma of BBQ, the nostalgic tunes of ABBA, and the 22km of walking in cheap flip flops (Yes our toes had blisters the next day), Joel and Mikayla's love story began—a hilarious, whirlwind adventure that neither of them could have ever predicted but wouldn't trade for the world.

Since then our adventures only grow but one thing is for certain there is no one else we'd rather journey this life with.
