One of our favorite places in Dallas! Purchase tickets in advance so you can enjoy a stroll in the beautiful gardens and discover some lovely views of Dallas and White Rock Lake.

Deep Ellum is a wonderful neighborhood in Dallas with a deep, rich history, lots of shops, and a ton of great food. We recommend checking out Upstairs Circus, grabbing a bite, and checking out one of the local breweries there. You can also go to a comedy show at Dallas Comedy House or check out a local drag show! <3

The Dallas Zoo is one of Joel's favorite spots! He took Selah and Haven there every week when they were little. The zoo has an interesting array of animals, and has also been in the news recently for various missing animals!

This is one of Poonam's favorite spots. The aquarium boasts aquatic creatures from all over the world and has an open cloud forest where birds and butterflies can roam freely!

A super fun place to take kids of all ages (we don't think there's an upper limit here)! Think 'hands-on' science activities and exhibits that will definitely pique your interests.

The Farmer's Market is open every day of the week but they have a large, outdoor market on Saturdays and Sundays. Look out for delicious treats, baked goods, jewelry, and art that can travel back with you!

So many fun shops and stops here! Located off Bishop Ave, this was Joel's hood for a couple of years. We spent many hours walking around, eating, and dreaming here. Our favorites are Tribal All Day Cafe, Nora's Restaurant, and the Urban Owl shop!
