Attire

Friday and Saturday:

Semi-formal / cocktail attire or Indian formalwear.

Indian Attire:

For our wedding, guests are not required to wear traditional Indian outfits. However, for those that are interested, we recommend wearing them to our Friday events (but can wear them for both days as well!)

Below is an overview on the types of outfits we recommend.

- Men: We recommend wearing a kurta, a long loose tunic, that is worn with pajama like pants. Note: your outfits should include both the kurta top and pants

- Women: We would suggest either a sari, lehenga, Sharara or Anarkali.

A sari consists of several yards of lightweight fabric draped so one end forms the skirt while the other end forms a head or shoulder covering.

A lehenga is a three-piece outfit consisting of a long skirt, blouse, and dupatta (shawl like scarf).

A Sharara is a traditional three-piece outfit featuring flared pants typically paired with a short kurta and a scarf.

An Anarkali consists of a long, flowing dress style top paired with fitted bottoms and matching scarf.

Note: For the garba, you'll want to wear an outfit that is comfortable and easy to dance in. In this case, a lehenga will be easiest to move around in.
